Hunting a King

Well guys, Nel is tired.
I have been looking for King Krush for quite a while, a few months. I have seen him untagged 9 times, each time I have tried my hardest usually getting 2 or so attempts. But besides the one time that he was killed by gaurds a player has killed him from me each time. I am so very tired of this. I just want to quit playing, I have tried out other pets. kept myself away from the Basin, and even made new alts to take up my Wow time. But I can not get King Krush off of my mind, he is the only pet that I don't just want, I need.
I spent all night looking for him with some friends until I was too tired and went to bed. I got back on this morning and for about an hour I searched for him, no luck. So I figure I would check my mail and log for about an hour while I go cook something to eat and call to check on my friends, see if we had any plans. I finish the loop and head to the mail box...but something tells me to check once more at the loop near the river. I pretty much jump up and down in my chair as I see King Krush walking around untouched! I was so excited since there was no one around! I quickly ate and sent in my helper pet, thanked him, waited on everything to be right, and there we go! Hit the macros and everything is going well. Uh oh, just a second left and fear, not a huge deal, I drink a potion back to full feign and all is well. I hit cheetah and rocket up next to Krush... He turns as I hit the macro and ok, wait, what! A shaman! But..he isn't here to help. He kills Krush in three hits and does the same to me before flying off.
I quickly ran back to Krush but of course he is dead and I am without a pet, once more, for the 9th time.
I tear up and let Krush know I will be back tonight before logging. I am so tired of this. Why can't people just let me, and all of the other hunters trying to tame their pets, be. Krush. I will be back.

Aaaaw, Nel! I am so sorry! I'm in the same boat as you. I get Krush, in perfect conditions, get so close, and someone has to screw it up. I'm with you. Why can't people leave hunters alone? It's not right or fair to mess with us like this. It drives me insane. Don't worry. We'll both get him, trust me, and we'll parade our Krushes around on our respective servers and know we're awesome, we stuck through with it and no griefers will drag us down to their sick level.

*sends warm fuzzy dino hugs from herself and Theseus* I'm sorry you two have had worse luck with griefers. :/
Take breaks from the hunt if you need to. He WILL be waiting for you when you try again. Any time griefers killed him on me, I called off the hunt until the next day.
I wouldn't've gotten my Theseus if I hadn't had four other people at my side to help with the Horde trying to kill him and me, so don't hunt alone if you can help it. Although that won't help much if you're on a PvE server...:/

Thank you everyon, we will have our Kings! 
I hope that you have luck finding him, and taming him Azu. Since I have seen him it is not so hard to find him. The only thing getting me are the losers killing him. Maybe we will both get him soon.
People are just so hateful. I found Loque'Nahak a few hours ago, he spawned right in front of me. I have seen him 4 times now, and I love my Loque so I know some hunter would be very happy with him. Quickly asking in general and checking /who I see there is no other hunter in the basin. I was frantic trying to get him an owner as there were people flying around, so this druid invites me to a group and I get all excited as his hunter friend flys in from Dalaran! He is just about there when a paladin hops out of no wher and kill Loque... Since I had him tagged and frost trapped the paladin got no loot and was mad and killed me and then tried to camp me. *sigh* So I kindly ask the druid while getting my Loque out and we murder the idiot. He then flys off like a fraidy cat and I apologize to the hunter, I felt horrible. 
Idiots.
I wish I had help, but none of my friends are playing atm and I am out there alone.

Wow, people are really lame. I'm so sorry, so terribly sorry, I really am. That just stinks that other people have nothing better to do than to ruin your day. It's pathetic.
I truly do wish you the best of luck in getting your green dino. One of these days, someone will be nice and help. It's just a matter of finding that one gem of a person.

i remember your pain , hunting for hours , even days (2 weeks for me) hunting the chomping machine , then the horn blows and your muscules in your fingers wont work , you fly down and see him killed , but you shouldnt give up , i saw him killed 9 times and i still got him with the help of a friendly death knight

Ok. Taking a quick break, still in the Basin but sound on high and hovering at spawn point. I have two friends circling though! We are going all out tonight! I have a priest and a dk for protection. 
No signs of him yet about to be exactly 11 hours after spawn.
Hoping this is the lucky night, back to the hunt I go! hopefully lucky # 10

YAAAAAAAY!!! Nel is so very very very happy!!!
I finally found my King Krush, and he was ready to let me tame him!!! I am so excited right now ahhh!
I had my friend's computer set up beside me with her father's priest on it at one spawn point while I circled the others and talked to her. I look over to her screen and nothing...*blink* "AHHHHH KING KRUSH KRISSY GET IN HERE!!!!!" I quickly flew to the priest and we frantically tried but the first attempt was a missfire as she thought I was dying and healed me, pulling aggro. So we got it together and held our breath for the next try. I was so scared and had to remember to stop looking for gankers and focus on the tame, I was amazed as everything went pretty well and King Krush happily stomped his was into my stables, never to be without him again!!!
I LOVE my new King Krush, he is so wonderful and I can not wait to get him to 80!
Thank you Krissy and Josh for helping me tame him! And thank you all here for being so sweet and supportive! We will all get our own King Krush one day, keep at it!!!
I happened to have fraps going while I was flying around and managed to cut out the tame and just after in a little 5 minute video! So, if you want to see me completely flip out and see King Krush nearly roflstomp us to death go have a look! Complete with failed tame attempt!
