So, i got my authenticator today. And, along with it, my Core Hound Pup. But i've ran into a problem. I think the Core Hound Pup is really cute, and i want to get a Core Hound to match him. But i dont know what pet to release for now. I cant release either of my Spirit Beasts, and not my OCJ, sense i need him as my Survival Raiding pet. So that leaves either, my black Devilsaur, who was my first ever BM pet and who i've had sense level 60, or Araga, who i've had sense i was high enough to tame her. I love them both the same amount. My brother is telling me to release my Devilsaur, sence he'll be easy to get back come Cata. But a friend is telling me that, if i end up releasing Araga, he'll help me camp for her once Cata comes out.
Any advice as to which one i should release for now? Or maybe i should wait untill Cata comes out to get the Core Hound to match my new pup?

I personally would get rid of the devilsaur.
they're neat (though not my kinda pet)
but there's also not a ton of people in un goro, so the dinos there are plenty, and they're not really -rare- spawns.

if you like araga and release her, who knows when you'll see her again?

it took me several weeks to finally get OCJ, people were passing by there like every day and killing him!

I agree with Dizzy's advice 100%. Logically, it makes sense to get rid of the devilsaur for now, since Araga is so incredibly hard to find, but ultimately it depends which one you use more/feel more attached to.

Im thinking the same. Your devilsaur is easy to get back while OCJ and Araga get killed as soon as they spawn since lowbies like to level right where they spawn. Araga is extremely rare, and OCJ is hard to find and unique. But it does really come down to what you love more.

I'll fourth (?) the devilsaur. If you ever want a black one again, just go to Blade's Edge and get him. Same skin as Ungoro and much, much easier to find.

I would let the Devilsaur go as well...not rare,unigue or elite...and as Fuzzydolly said,it's there anytime you want him.
