WoW Petopia Community

Recently I've been getting many error messages from the server, mostly code 500, Internal Server Failure, and it's not my computer, it's happened at work and iPhone too. Just thought I'd notify you, feel free to remove my post if you feel it's bullshit.

I never had any error message so far and since I'm home because of my aching back, I'm online almost all of the time.
No, I can't back this alert up, sorry.

Thats odd, it's happened twice for me today, and three times yesterday.

saturo, is this on the forum specifically, or on the Petopia site proper?

Just the forum, though I have'nt been to the actual site in a while.

Okay. If you don't mind, can you make a note of the time (your local time is fine) the next time it happens, and then let me know the time and your time zone when it clears up? In the meantime we'll take a look at the logs and see if we can figure anything out.

Okay, I'm still getting these, but this time was on Adobes site...

Are your computers at work and at home somehow connected? Maybe via the iPhone? Are you transporting data with it?

Sounds like an infection, though...

Get those computers and phone get scanned quickly!

Made a call around some friends, and the common denominator seems to be Telia, which is he biggest Internet provider in my town, which makes it likey that that's the reason for the malfunctions at work too. For once I am correct in blaming them!

After a few tries, this came up.

Yup, the servers were definitely down for a bit earlier. Along with the Petopia site and Mania's Arcania.

Ah, whatever... Everything is back up and running...

We had a problem with the MySQL database last night. This forum is heavily database-dependent, as are Mania's Arcania and Warcraft Mounts. Petopia isn't, except for the search feature, which is why it didn't give errors on the front page. (While trying to see what was going on, I inadvertently deleted Petopia's front page for a while, which caused some problems.)

Unfortunately, we're not entirely sure what caused the problem last night. Our server admin is looking into it today. But regardless, we'll get it resolved as quickly as possible.

I don't envy that admin guy...
