lol that's what happens whenn you have a 5 year old yammering for candy I used to play EQ1 and got my Iksar monk to level 54 before I got fed up with having to buy an expac every 3-6 months. I miss him alot sometimes. lol Come to think of it I think that's why my rogue is "tank" spec lmao

Ooh, I want candy!
I never got into EQ1. The first two times I played I died horribly through no fault of my own, and then I gave up and moved to Asheron's Call, a much better game in all ways.
But yeah, the expansion schedule for both EQ's is astounding -- and pretty strenuous for both the devs and the players, I think.

I was lucky with my EQ1 experience. Some friends I used to go to an RP forum with got me into it along with my ex-wife. We used to play together alot, which was awesome since she was a bard. As a team we were unstopable.
Toss in my freinds' warrior, cleric, and lock, and it was party time. It really sucked when the warrior got deployed to Iraq. He ended up pulling 4 tours there.
