I've been rep farming Kurenai (Or howeveer you spell it) for a few days now, and I am only about half way throuhg reverred still for Exhaulted for the Mounts :/

What was your best way for becoming exaulted with them?

Honestly, by the end it just comes down to mass Ogre slaughtering. My favourite place to farm was the two caves down in the basin near the center of the map. They respawn quickly...by the time you clear one cave you can go to the other and vice versa.

Every kill gets you a bit of rep, plus you collect the beads to hand in. It's tedious, but after a while you get used to it.

Yep, kill ogres. And make sure you've done all the quests.

Put on a movie and go on auto-kill-pilot. Farming rep is best done with distractions, I find. And just keep in mind how awesomely cool you'll look on a talbuk. That made the whole grind fly by for me.

I ended up listening to audio books while slaughtering ogres... it helped the time to pass! Absolutely make sure you did every single quest, even ones that can drop after killing a mob. It helps a lot. I found even after I got all of my rep I still needed more research tokens for the War Talbuk so I kept on killing ogres to use the necklaces for Consortium rep! I ended up maxing that out too before I was done. :p

Thanks you guys I was wondering what those stupid necklaces were for! I've been selling them like an idiot... I probably could have been exhalted already!!! AUUUGGG! oh well, I'm sure it'll fly by now thank you!

Grats on both your new mounts. I ground for the Talbuks specifically to get my albino drake, but, they quickly became my absolute favorite ground mounts. They suit dwarves, for some reason. Must be the ram thing.

I love them too.. I had always wanted a ram for my Tauren and they were the closest thing until Brewfest. <3 They also remind me of Yakul from Princess Mononoke.

I picked up this farming yesterday (2 July) at around half way through honored. After handing in 200 beads and just from killing ogres in those caves i'm now at 15k through exalted. If I weren't taking breaks to do other things in between I probably would have exalted by now, but first some well deserved sleep and i'll carry on later.

Those ogres in the caves though! Wow, i've never seen mobs respawn that fast! There are times in those caves when just as you've killed an ogre it will be in the exact same sport already attacking you...It's madness!

I know! It's crazy! There are some times when I was farming them that he'd respawn 3 on top of the one I just killed.

Well, around ten minutes ago I just got my last ammount of needed beads (80 beads needed on the last leg of the farming...after getting 200 the day before) and I got my achievement Oh My, Kurenai and 8 more mounts bringing me to 72/100. Oh yeah, I can't forget the tabard! My new favourite and now I need 10 more til I get the 25 tabard achievement...Alot more Outland farming coming my way!..

I liked that a lot about them as well. Yakul is sort of how I picture Kyle's talbuk personality wise.
