Re: Patch notes
The talent wiping is obnoxious, but OMG 20 PETS.The Stable will now store 20 pets. If a pet is moved into the Stable, its talents are wiped.

Re: Patch notes
Ooh, twenty slots. And if they end up wiping talents all the time, I might just forget to talent my pets at all, and that will just end with a sad hunter and a dead moth.

The hunter bits (from http://forums.worldofwarcraft.com/threa ... 8&sid=2000):
Five pets can now be stored with the hunter at all times. Any one of these five pets can be summoned via the Call Pet ability.
Focus has replaced mana as a new resource.
Hunters now start with a pet at level 1.
The Stable will now store 20 pets. If a pet is moved into the Stable, its talents are wiped.

Re: Patch notes
OK, as I understand we hunters will have:
20 slots to store pets with the stable master
+5 slots for pets that are currently with us.
---------------------------------------------
= 25 tamed pets all in all
The 5 pets we're taking along will keep their talent trees as we set them but will lose their speccs as we move them from active pet to inactive pet (stored in the stable)
Sounds pretty cool in my ears, really...
But wich 5 to take along? A bear for soloing, a Wolf for Raiding, a Scorpid for PvP and a style-pet for role-playing... Damn! What do I need those 21 other slots for?!?

Re: Patch notes
I for one have a long list of pets to retame on each of my hunters. I've had so many pets over the levels, and I can't wait to get all those lovely pets back. ^^ Both of my 80 hunters have parted with a lot of lovely beasts, and there's also a lot I'm still hoping to try out. Will probably go and tame the Beast just because he may become untameable later on. Finally I can tame multiple skins of a single pet family without having to feel bad for wasting my slots. ^^
*starts writing a list of pets to tame and what to name them*
... Wtb more stable slots! XD Ten minutes of collecting and both my 80 hunters have a list of 20 or more to tame. >.< And that's just out of the pets that are currently available, the ones I HAVE to have due to always having wanted one, or having abandoned one earlier for something else.
