Well I imagine MMO Champion might be having server load problems tonight, so grabbing screenshots of the info might come in handy. I just wasn't sure if that's what this was.

The new aspect is definitely an eye raiser. it reminds me of the older version of Aspect of the Viper where it was preferable for a hunter to forego Hawk and stay in the regen "stance" for entire boss fights just to be able to keep steady dps up. I suspect dragonhawk will become more valued for it's monkey portion than the ap it provides.

Depends on how the focus rythym works out i suppose.

Except they're removing dragonhawk entirely.

We'll miss the ap bonus, methinks; being focus starved will NOT be like being mana starved.

It's also worth mentioning that Mend Pet is currently channeled in the Beta. :S Also Call Stabled Pet seems to have gotten a 3 second cast time.

oh my god! one change - which will surely piss off a LOT of hunters - will most highly make MY day!

I dual box, almost exclusively, and ONE BM talent that is pretty much "obligatory" is [Kindred Spirits].

If you notice the changes to THAT talent: "increases you and your pet's maximum focus by 5/10"... WITHOUT the 10% movement speed increase!!

I always have to give my non-hunter 2nd-box characters an enchant to boost walking/running speed because of that stupid talent. This means that I gain an enchant slot now! yay me.. but, :( sorry to all those hunters who like the fact that they can walk/run 10% faster than other classes.

now, if they'd fix the DK's ridiculous speed boost talent so I can have someone follow him!

Well in looking deeper at the Fox thing, the other half of the puzzle is that hawk allows bonus regen from steady/cobra. So what i've figured out is that it's meant for boss phases. on little movement fights like patchwerk or festergut, use hawk for massive stand and deliver damage. On highly mobile fights and phases like Heigen the unclean or the final phase of Professor Putricide, use Fox to keep your regen and dps up.

What does concern me as i forsee doing my damndest to fill those 20 stable slots up, is that Aspect of the Monkey is a passive, deep Bm pvp talent now for reducing the cooldowns for panic buttons like disengage and deterrence when under attack. So unless they ease up on the hunter's intentially bad agl:dodge conversion, we're going to get eaten alive by our soon to be new friends, extra health or not.

I wonder if that's how they are going to do the '5 pets with you' thing. They'd have to move Call Stabled Pet down from level 80, though.

I really hope they do but from what the SS's show it's still at level 80. Maybe that will change down the road as things come closer to release. Being a level 20, 40, 50 etc and trying to change pets and run back is a hassle.

Hunters would then need a new level 80 skill, right? Since freezing arrow is gone.
