Okay...so I've offically decided to start the taming rounds for King Krush...again...I've tried and failing 3 times before, so I'm kinda hoping this time I can get it right.

Anyhoo...Whilst browsing the AH for potions, scrolls, and buff food for my encounter with him if I were to ever find him that is...I stumbled upon a potion called 'Free Action Potion' (Thottbot it...seriously) It says that it makes the drinker of the potion immune to movement impairing effects...and I'M thinking that maybe fear is included in said impairing effects? Maybe? Okay...well possibly not, but if I end up finding Krush I'll use it and see if it does or does not work...OR MAYBE one of you guys knows if it works?

P.s. Is there a potion/elixir/scroll thing....that makes you immune to fear for so many seconds/mins??

Judgement of Justice (Pally spell) makes you immune to fear, as does Curse of Recklessness. Could try those in a duel.

On that note, Judgment of Justice WILL in fact work against Krush, so that's 6 protected seconds. Time it right, and you can have a string of BW then stun, no fear. It was my orginal plan, but on my day fro Krush, I stupidly opted priest instead. So, in my opinion, if you can get priest help or pally help, go pally.

As for Free Action, I noticed it on Wowhead, though reports said it didn't work.

It wont work and if your trying to get out of the fear then I know how to. your going to get a trash pet of anyshort turn off ALL of its attacks so all it can do it auto attack. Then you send it on Krush (dont let it die for a few secs) right when he fears your pet hit all your pots and what not and tame beast he will never fear you if you have the haste :3

fishing pole and haste pot ftw! seriously its all i had that was special.

Movement impairing = slows, so no, a fear wouldn't be countered by it.

Ah okie, soo really haste is the biggest thing....I've gemmed all I could, enchanted all I could, and bought any new gear I could find with as much haste as I could find, and I'm still only around 6% haste unbuffed...I'm worried that no matter WHAT i try, I'll still fail all over again. I'm really trying to do this by myself with as many potions/scrolls as possible, because I play at odd times, and none of my priesty/shaman/pally friends...which are few as it is...are online at those times...PLUS he actually has to spawn first! LOL I've only seen him three times...Once I tried taming 3 times and failed....the second, tried taming once before he was killed in front of me...and then the third time, I killed him because I was mad Lol...and now I think he's mad at me, seeing as how he won't spawn again..

And yeah, my main hunter is alliance.

When I tamed Krush, I recall that Beastial Wrath was my best friend. Actually, the funny thing was that when I DID tame him... It was the simplest. I believe the first time I tried using all these fancy spells and trinkets (which elude my memory at the moment), but the second time all I did was activate a trinket, drink a haste pot, beastial wrath abandon script and tame!

Another thing that might help are the haste foods. I kept one of those buffs on me the entire time while searching. I believe it was a haste/stam one.

Try to get your hands on some on-use haste trinkets, if you can. Even if they're from low-level quests, they will come in handy.

I feel like an idiot now, but obviously passive haste trinkets will work, too.

i did with half a yellow gear and no potions ,scrolls or cooldowns , i had em but he killed me so all potions on cd and scroll gone
i did make a special spec for taming going in haste , armor and stam

If I remember right, I pulled it off with about 812, 820 in haste, fully bufffed, everything ready to go, with about 23k health. I had an attempt with all of that WITHOUT outside help that would've worked, assuming I hadn't gotten feared. So if you get lucky, 23k health and less than 1k haste can do it. Also, I don't know how well it'd work, but what if you tried to stick in a good http://www.wowhead.com/spell=19577. Only problem is it saps up your fear protection. I tried working it into a macro, but nothing had worked, but maybe you can figure it out.

Above all, these two key things my raid leader told me really, really, really helped. I would panic, become all hyped up, fail, and give up because it hadn't worked immediately, and I wouldn't preform to my maximum taming potential. (Does that even make sense?) So, he told me the following to try and help me...not panic.

1. Don't be surprised when you find him. After all, that's why you're out there. That's why you're doing mind numbing, endless loops. When he shows up, that means you're doing it right!

2. Don't panic. You have a plan, that, if you do it right without panicking, and shaking, and mispressing buttons, WILL work. You've tested it out, you've got all your buffs, everything is working right, you just have to execute it. When you panic, you become filled with adrenaline, don't focus, and you screw up and msiclick buttons, and then you'll fail.

And my personal advice. You WILL get him. Don't EVER give him up, because he is fully worth the blood and tears and sweat and gold you poured into him. He is worth the moment of triumph, the heart-pounding realization that he is YOURS, you will never have to do a Krush loop again, ever, and you'll never have to struggle with that.

It also helps if the people on your server aren't jerks. If they're the same faction as you, by all means, try and ask them to stop. /say Please let me tame him works wonders!

The method I used enabled me to tame without aid from others in the area and with as little change to my gear as possible.

Wow, I read all of that Phyra, and it really re-inspired me..I'll be queueing for some random battleground later in the day to save up for that trinket. Also- thanks for letting me know that there is an interal cooldown for haste use items...did not know that... >.>
