-My mum found my cat dead after him being missing for 5 days. Fed him myself and everything, he was pretty much my first pet ive cared for myself entirely, and so i feel like i've failed him
-My Roleplaying guild is falling apart: No one is coming to the events the Guild Leader sets.
-Im having doubts as to wether roleplaying is what i want to do with my hunter. i've only got around 3 months till cata hits so i wanna get some hierlooms and possibly even do some raiding (though i doubt ill have time to gear up)

Halp me petopia. Whats the freindliest high population server i can transfer too, and is BM really bad enough that i wont get into raids at all?

For you, I'd say Nesingwary would be a good start. Though the guild doesn't raid much that I know of (I only have an alt there), they're obviously a great bunch of people who love to help. That's my suggestion.

I'm really, really sorry to hear about your kitty. I hate losing loved ones, even if they are "just" pets.
