WoW Petopia Community

Just a random thought I had today....

What would you think, Mania, about having a group created on Facebook for Petopia? ^^ I know not everyone uses the site, but it's fairly popular, and I think it would be fun to have a community there. Even just a fan page would be kind of neat I think, but it's up to you!

What the hell is facebook?!?

Hehe, I suppose it's more popular in North America, but it's basically one of those...social networking sites I believe they're called.

I mainly use it to keep in touch with friends and relatives, and you can join groups about things you like, etc.

Oh yeah, now I know... I've heard it before but here in germany wer-kennt-wen.de is (translates to "who knows who) the most popular of them all.

Hmmm.. I swore I'd never get my profile on such a site but if you people decide to do it, maybe I'll join...

Yeah, I know there's people who hate sites like that, but personally I don't spend every hour of every day on it (I don't understand how people do that in the first place). Since I live away from my friends and family back home, it's really convenient to keep tabs on everyone and stay connected which is why I like it.

How comes? You like quite young in the pics I've seen.

Well, I'm 23, and my boyfriend and I moved out together about 5 years ago I think. He had a job opportunity out here in Edmonton, and my brother lives out here, so we decided to move and do our own thing. Now we own a house, a vehicle, pets....haha. Still miss home sometimes though. ^^;

Glad it turned out cool.

But then, when I was in the States (1997, I think), a lot of young couples had left home already, living in trailer parks or in these mobile homes that we don't have over here. Maybe because germany is smaller than texas. We just don't have room for everyone to have a house.

Eh, I personally wouldn't want to get back on my facebook. I made an account once for... something... well dang, I don't remember why. I probably wouldn't get back on for any community though, I have my hands full with this forum enough as it is.

Hee, well I got the okay from Mania, so I'll go ahead and create one. x) If anyone want to join they can, but if not no harm done.

What would you do with a group like that? Do you talk or something? I'm really not familiar with how these sites... do stuff.

Well I mean, you could...

It's more just there so you can join it and be like 'Hey, I like Petopia'. People can post stuff on the Wall should they choose, or you can just join it once and promptly forget about it from then on. xD
