and pet dps isn't an issue, what really is your favorite pet skin, the one you love that you'll always have with you?.. I'm gonna have to think about this..

Hehe, it'll still be Skorn for me.

I lucked out with the fact that Devilsaurs happened to be pretty much the best pet you could bring as BM. It was amazing being able to run dungeons and raids beside my absolute favourite pet.

I can't choose. I love my Worm (Soboros), Tallstrider (Dohnute), Raptor (Unnamed D: ) and Wolf (Zwee) too much to only use one of them at all times. I'll probably switch them around a lot in terms of use, but they will most definately always be with me.

For me it depends on whether we'll be allowed to spec pets how we want, or if they'll still be assigned a specific talent tree. If it were up to me, I'd keep either Apollyon, a wind serpent, or a boar with me. But, the wind serpent and boar are cunning and tenacity, respectively, and not suitable for raiding situations, regardless of whether the dps is the same or not. Ferocity just simply has better talent points (at least for how I play and what I want in a raiding pet).

When I decided to create a hunter way back in time and chose him to be named Karathyriel and be a blood elf, it was almost clear that he'd have a big cat beside him and in Eversong Woods there are only the red and brown lynxes.
Since red did look so incredibly unnatural to me, at level ten I decided to tame an
Elder Springpaw and named him (It had to be a male!

) Gerethay.
Since I never really played instances, I worked my way up to level 80 with Gerethay by my side all the time, except when I had to learn a new skill from a different pet. (Who remembers those good old times?

). So even within the role players, Karathyriel and Gerethay became practically inseperable.
When I started raiding and going to hero instances, I had to follow the lead and switch over to a wolf. It always made me sad to have some other pet than Gerethay and now I see these changes and my hopes are up that, even when raiding, Karathyriel and Gerethay will be a team of trust, friendship and loyalty again, no matter what.
So Gerethay will be my companion from level 10 to level 85. I will never ever replace him. He'll always be one of my 5 active pets.

For Lazona, definitely between "Nightshade" (Gezzarak) and "Boannan" (Rak'shiri) - they are her stayers <3
For Kas, most definitely "Qendresa" (Araga), his closest thing to a Mom.
For Ten, definitely "Sunshine" (Springpaw Cub), death wouldn't even split those two apart.
For Veejay, it's definitely "Barkley" (Prairie Wolf), her loveable puppy.
& for Cleyandra, "VonGoosewing" (Ressan The Needler), his insanity is her staying power X3

Hard to choose but for me it would probably be my
dire wolf. I've levelled a few hunters in WoW and the pet that has been tamed the most is this one. I'd don't raid and only occasionally go to instances so it's never been because of its skill, I just love wolves and this kind is my favourite (it reminds me of the first fast land mount I ever got, the
Frostwolf Howler).

Hmm... For Slickrock, it's tough at the moment, since he started out Dranei, but that fateful gnomish engineering accident left him a dwarf. He just might find his red lynx FlameClaw again, but the BlueBlack Trex is a close second...
For StoneFang, the BlueBlack armoured boar is making an impression.. time will tell.

This. Until I know what it all will look like I cannot decide.

If we get to choose a tree for them, it's Lapress, my Silithid. If not, it's either Gondria or a moth.

Sorry I still will play the pet I feel is unique to the situation even if there is no real atvantage.
Some giant beastie? Send in Mosh to "T-Wrecks" him
Some uber powerful magic mob? Send in Raiden to BBQ his arse
And basic crap mobs? Let Wraith (purple outland raptor) Or ripfang (Orange Tiger) go to work

Dweezill - Can't decide between Booger (Crocoslime), Ghidora (Hydralisc) or Prikk (Sapphire Hive Queen). I( really hope the shrink down the Hive Queen though.
Dwizzle - Tortuga (Aotona)
Thothus - MacGrubber (Oozeworm)
However, this depends if we can spec our pets in any tree we want. That and, there are plenty of pets that I want, but were very situational, so were let go. I loved the way they looked, but never really had a use for them (Arachinphobe - Zarakh skin spider). Things could change.

I has a BIG weak spot for the spirit beast look of Gondria, but I know that I've also come to really, REALLY appreciate the fact that they have a ranged magical attack... it basically extends your pulling range, as a Hunter. I often use it to pull a particular mob from within a group which I might not otherwise wish to approach too closely, and almost 100% of the time, I get only that single mob I targeted:
send in pet, use ranged attack from pet, recall pet to you.
re-send pet to attack when mob is in the right place.
but I likes me my shiny transparent pets... what do you want, I'm a sucker for things that shine and sparkle (except vampires... vampires should NOT sparkle... unless it's the ashes from their burning carcass that are sparkling in the sunlight...)

I'll still be keeping several pets to stay versatile. If any pet can go any tree then I'll likely prefer to keep my future bonobo.
