Family illness has caused my creative/artsy side to dwindle for the time being. I'll resume work on this again once I feel up to it. My apologies.

Since my avatars typically aren't too terrible I thought I'd make a post in the "Avatars & Signatures" section! It seems to make sense, right?

So, my plan of attack so far is to make three avatars for each pet type/breed/species. For example - I make a bat and then make three different color variations. There might be exceptions depending on how into it I am.. actually I hope there will be!

Suggestions are great, because there are so many to choose from! But, I will get around to all of them regardless.

First finished are the Devilsaurs! Working on Hyenas next, since I already have those. Then probably pridewatchers.

I wouldn't mind seeing a core hound if you're up to it.

I'm afraid I'll have to get back to these at another time. A family emergency just turned up. Cruel irony that it happens just when I'm all happy to do a drawing project... I'll pick it back up as soon as I can.

Aye, I hope it turns out ok, whatever it is that's happened.

Hopefully it will turn out to be nothing. My mom has been battling cancer for a while, and was undergoing some chemotherapy at a special hospital an inconvenient distance from home. It also turned out she reacted strangely to it, which was like a 10% chance, and made it complicated. She made it through that though, and after they did an x-ray and said the tumors shrank signifigantly.

Well, now it turns out the she's been put into ICU, the tumors are bleeding, and there's mention of kidney failure. All of this is through a family friend who's staying with her at the moment, so I'm really hoping she heard wrong or something. Waking up at god-aweful early in the morning to fly down there, and won't really know anything for certain until I am.

Oh my goodness, I certainly hope everything turns out ok with your mother.

Oh my... I really hope she makes it. Cancer can be tough, you might think it's disappeared, and then a year later it returns with "daughter-tumours" (if it translates directly from Swedish).

Anyway, hope she gets better.

I'll be thinking of you and your mom. I hope she will be better soon.
