Well if you have not read topics or post i did used to play pokemon.I was first shown to pokemon when i was about 6,my grandmom bought me a gameboy color and pokemon yellow,from there i started to collect cards and collect all games as they came out,by the time i was age 13 i had over 10k pokemon cards in books with the card protector sheets.I had every single pokemon game out for Gameboy color,gameboy advance and Ds.When pokemon diamond and peral came out i started to lose intrest in pokemon and sold all my cards and games off.

Recently after joining here found that alot of people older then me or my age still like pokemon.I desided it was alot of fun.

Also been having alot of issues with my computer due to it being 5 years old and im sick of it.
So i desided it be cheaper to go out and buy pokemon diamond & a Ds system and start playing pokemon dismond instead of World of warcraft 10-12 hours a day.

My only issue atm is i am age 15 turning 16 on october 25 of this year,i live in usa,maryland and not many places are going to hire someone my age.

I looked up prices at gamestop and a Used Ds will cost me 90 dollars not counting taxes & a Used Diamond version will cost me about 25 dollars not counting taxes so its going to cost me about 120.00 prob counting taxs give or take a little.

I just wanted to make this thread to tell that im no longer ashamed about playing pokemon and careless what people think when i do & I wanted to know if maybe anyone has any idea's of any way i could make some quick money without having to get a real job,due to fact i only want to make enought money to get what i want then i would be quiting and why take a job making them think i am going to stay and then i stay for 2 weeks for the job and leave then they have to look again.

My grandmother has a booth at the flea market,i have been offered a job down there before by a few of her friends but it would take a few weekends to make the money,i am just woundering if anyone might know or have found ways to make money easy and fast at a young age.

Now, for the money-problem... I don't know much about the US, but in Sweden you can have a "summer job", basically be the office bitch, or gardening, or janitoring, or whatever work they have to do that doesn't require an education, and working on a flea-market seems like that sort of thing. The best paying stuff I've discovered is newspapers. It almost got me a press-pass to Blizzcon. *Mutters about evil editors*
It IS possible to advance it like a career, it's hard, granted, but doable. In the beginning they just let me do janitorial stuff in the office, and then I got to come along with a camera. It paid off fine.

I'm pretty sure any kind of job will get you money, you just need to find one you like.

yep , i got a summerjob for it , i work in a plantshop , pays pretty good actually

I am just looking for some way to make the about 130 dollars,im not looking to keep a job atm.

y , a summerjob is just for a few weeks , you do it untill u got the money u needed

Does our local government or whatever you have have a website? Simmer jobs are usually sorted under Education.

You could always mow lawns. At $20+ per yard depending on the size you could make the money in a weekend.
