Major change in 1K Needles. Not sure if I am really gonna like it, seeing as this is one of my favorite zones for leveling. Better get Mister Tan before he's gone, and even Vile Sting.

At least we shouldn't worry too much about the tan silithid. Blizz planned ahead and made the tan ones in Ahn Qiraj tamable. As long as that raid nor Silithus won't ever be touched, they'll be fine, same for those beautiful silver-blue scorpions.

Well...hell, just when I got attached to Grys's current line up! I was considering that silithid for her. I guess I better make a move on it now.

This. As long as there are tameable mobs in the game with the same skin, we really shouldn't be fussing about it.

But some people (*raises hand*) are weird and prefer a rare over a normal, even if they are the same skin. That's why even if Blizz makes ten thousand other turquoise tallstriders, it just won't be the same as Strider Clutchmother, slowly strutting her way through southern Darkshore with her younglings in tow. Ugh, and just when I'm getting attached to Rak'shiri. I really wish Blizz would let us know whether or not they plan to give us the bigger stables before Cataclysm or not, because I know I'm not the only one getting fidgety with worry.

True. It isn't the same as taming a rare animal, even if that skin is very common (not saying the tan silithid skin is common). Still, even if our beloved rares are gone when Cata hits, and yes, we will miss them very much because they were very special to us, I'd say any animal is equally special in their own way, rare or not. Once we tame them, that's when that unique specialty kicks in.

Speaking of Silithids, can anyone with the beta confirm or deny if the beautiful white ones in AQ are tameable? I love that model the most, so I was just wondering if they had changed that because I would love to get one!

Aww, this makes me want to tame Steelsnap. I wanted Snort but it seems like Steelsnap is more in danger, and I'm just sad to see any pet be gone forever. I have no room now though...

Also consider the fact that the one from AQ isn't exactly going to be readily available for a fresh lvl 60 to go grab. And who knows what will happen to AQ.

In any event, if you want the tan one, go grab one now.

The rarespawn one will be gone. Only accessible from AQ once Cata happens.

the hardest thing would be finding people to go to AQ with you as the tan ones are after the first boss heck they all are!

I really hope that they implement the larger stables before Cataclysm. I do NOT want to let any of my pets go, much as I want to save a Silithid.

In the worst case, I could release my Devilsaur since he's more easily replaceable, but he's also my raider.
