Has anyone found any new skins (or models) for bats? they only have 4 skins . Crabs do to, but there getting a new model with 4 new skins. Poor bats.

IMO, bats should get a completely remade model before Blizz even starts thinking about making additional skins.

This, definitely. I love bats IRL, but in-game.... there's just something about them that irks me. It's mostly their strange, hunched body, I think. Their faces sort of bother me, too... granted, they are based on vampire bats from the looks of it. Then again, they can also eat fruit, so there could be some different species of bats? For example, I would absolutely love a bat based on the flying fox:

Ugh, yes. They need a revamp so badly. Bats are one of my favourite animals in real life, but I hardly care for the WoW versions at all. I think with new locations like the gothic themed Gilneas a new bat model would fit in perfectly.

Yeah, I would love a new bat model, or even just a few new skins. I love bats, I definatly will have to get one again with the 25 stable slots

Okay, the thing that bothers me the most?

Why do their wings have holes in them?! I'm referring to where the wing membrane should meet with their body. Argh they wouldn't even be able to fly like that!

urg. yes blizz needs new models ofr them let alone skins, every pet seems to be getting new shiny models to add to hey're family but right now i feel sorry for the bears and boars with that only one model they have it saddens me. i'm fine with dragonhawks only haveing one model though i don't think you can increase they're models, same goes for silithids.

Yeah, bats are supposed to look just as cute as that, or even cuter. The vampire bats look so weird.

Huh. That's the first cute vampire bat picture I've seen. Any other picture looked like the poor things fell out of the ugly tree and hit every stick on the way down.

Hehe, even the 'ugly' ones I find cute. ^^ But I really love bats....just not WoW ones.

I think they didn't used to; because they're used on some Horde flight paths, and the characters' legs used to protrude through the wings, the holes were added later. It's still silly, though. The claws bother me too; the shading on the claw is terrible, very low-res looking. Lastly, the bat's stun (more than cosmetic, I know) costs 80 focus. 80! When I tried a bat out, if it was fighting it NEVER had 80 focus to use this stun.

I mention these things because I LOVE the bats, especially the dark brown/black one with green eyes, and these problems are a shame. They're nowhere near in as bad a state cosmetically as hyenas IMO, but still! Batties <3

The claws! Yes I had forgotten about those. The graphics there really are terrible.
