got idead from the "Beta - Who got in" thread here http://forums.wow-petopia.com/viewtopic ... &start=160 wich has turned into a Q&A thread if some mobs are still tamable or not.

If there is a mob you a specifically interested in, make a post here (please be at least somewhat specific with mob type and location / raptor - kalimdor is a bit to widespread )

For my own part i will make a screen shot of the pet mob in question in my reply.

the first pet i will handle is a request in aforementioned thread, it the sunblade Dragonhawk in Sunwell
And Kalliope .. sorry the dragonhawk in sunwell has not been made tameable as of now (cannot forsee if it ever will be)

Not tameable:
Silithid wasps in Tanaris/Feralas (they're not beasts)
No zevhras or giraffes either (have tried just for fun)

Could you test the Silithid Wasps? Not high enough level to check here yet (level 15)

Iwould like to check if someone would be able to check if the Zhevras or giraffes are tamable... please? or even the elks

I know it'll be a pain, but if anyone's willing to go through the quest chain to summon Gezzarak and check up on her I'd be eternally grateful!

I haven't tried them all, but I did try one type (don't remember which). It was not tamable.

To me, it would seem rather pointless to ask already, they usually wait with pets until the very end.

Tried the Basilisks and Stag in Azshara, no dice there, but they level 12 Chimera are tameable and exotic!

.... level 12 exotic tamable chimaeras. Srysly? Just make 'em untamable, blizz, and spare yourself all the tickets saying "I best lored it and it sad the chimaras are tamabl but it said i couldn tame it when i tryed Q.Q"

Ahem... sorry if I sounded bitter, but it just seems mean to tease lowbie hunters with awesome pets. Like the NPC with gezzarak roaming around dal.

And, my question...
Can the stags on Azuremist be tamed? Probably not... but I want one so bad, that was the pet I wanted on my first hunter (a draine) since 1 and when I found out they weren't tamable I was sad

I've always wanted stags as well, Pawtrack.

I've heard that they aren't tameable right now, however people say that they show up with a Diet if you use Beast Lore, so perhaps they're under development?

I would love a pet stag, what could possibly be a better draenei pet?

I've always loved the black Ashenvale ones, with the green eyes. I think one of those would match with Veph wonderfully. :3

Ah poo. Thanks for checking! I don't care specifically about the Sunwell dragonhawks, but I haven't seen that skin reported to be anywhere else (yet!), so I had to ask.

I'd love SS proof of Humar on the beta, just because there's conflicting information about whether he's still around or not.

Would also love to see Mazz and his babies. We know the babies aren't tameable; I just want to see them. xD

I don't believe it's been officially confirmed that Beauty in Blackrock Caverns is tameable. I'm sure she is, but I'd like to see it.

And on that note, I know there were massive changes to Blackrock, but is the Spire gone for good? Is the Beast gone entirely? I know his skin isn't unique, but it would make me sad to know Beauty's in game and her hubby isn't.

Same here. =*( I missed her when I had the chance, and now I kick myself.

hydras are they tameable?

No word on tameable hydras yet Dulanie. However I think Saturo's right and a lot of pet changes may not even appear until the very last leg of the beta.

yeah =/ It's just that I've wanted to tame a hydra for years lol

Hehe, well I know you're probably right. It's hard not to want to check things just in case though. There might have been some secret thing implemented, but yeah...overall since there's been no new pet families yet and I'm next to positive they'll be adding some, we're probably going to have to wait a while for conclusive evidence.
