Ok, after hearing everybody solo taming King Krush and The Beast, I have decided to give it a go. I got all my haste gear, and I am thinking I look like I have a chance. I am at 1158 Haste unbuffed. That's without food and pots. So, I am looking to be anywhere from 1200-1250 haste when I start taming. While I am on the subject, does anybody know how much haste it takes to shave off one second of tame beast? I am deffinately not a numbers crusher. oh well,i am off to see what i can see. keeping my fingers crossed.

When I was out taming a bunch of stuff for my last stable slot ( can't quite be happy with anything at the moment -_-; ) I remember mine was at 18.8 to cast. I had 204 haste rating which is like 6.22%. If I take my neck off I'm down to 161 rating which is about 4.91% and you'd need 5% to drop one second, so maybe around 165?
Edit: poked around on wowwiki and seems like you need 32.79 to get 1% so it would be 163.95. 164. Whatever :x

I can't remember my exact haste but I had a trinket, gear and potions, elixirs and food and was able to get my tame time to 12 seconds.
Which for The Beast may not be enough.
Took me a long time with that and I had a healer with me.
Best of luck.
