Does Cata effect Outland or Northrend? Also, is there an Instance that will be gone when Cata launches? Thinking if Northrend and Outland are still good, I'll lvl up all my toons to BC when I get home Tuesday.

Cataclysm focus's on old Azeroth, and as of the last real update, neither Outlands nor Northrend are changing during it.

if anything, the only changes to Outland and Northrend will be graphical/effects updates.

I think there will probably be changes to the garadar quest line where you have to journey to and from thrall and his greatmother a few times though. no one will be able to given that thrall won't actually be in orgrimmar anymore.

it also makes me wonder how things like wrathgate etc will play out now as well

And of course Garrosh Hellscream won't be, either.

Northrend needs a moose. No reason they can't just add it in! Lazy buggers. :p

Outland can't be affected by the cataclysm aside for quests because it's another planet in another dimension.

Blizzard's said it's been built up too much, so when/if they do it, it'll have to be something really special.

I think there might be some super minor changes to outland like dialogue, quest text, and maby refugee from azeroth (although it would seem silly to leave a breaking world for a broken one but oh well)

No not really as the expacks not about OL lol i mean wotlk didnt do anything in OL aswell.

Yes! I love it!

A world boss would be a solution but I think I recall how they said that they do not want to have them anymore for some reason or another. Problems with griefing perhaps. Perhaps an instanced boss would do it nicely!

I wont it as a world boss but not something huge like the fel reaver just a normal sized moose!

i think they're not doing world bosses anymore because its virtually impossible to form a group anymore these days. even within a guild. which means no one is ever gonna bother taking a crack at the world bosses

It's some good gold at least if you solo or 2-man the old ones. :}
