Some of you might remember Sarayana, my tauren hunter who was very undecided on pets. I hadn't played her in forever, but I logged in as her today at level 16.5, and thought..I want a new pet..let me get level 17 so I can get a hyena (after hearing about how lots of people are loving on them...had to get one!) Anyhoo..Did some quests, got level 17, and headed up to his spawn point....annnnd nothing. I had stabled Luca, my Dishu, back in the Crossroads, so I picked up a lion so I could kill stuff over there while I waited...Me and Mew(the lion) killed about 3 lions and then I see a pink smudge coming out from behind a bush...It's Snort!! Yay! I say good-bye to Mew, and then run over to Snort and tame, and now's he's all mine, and he needs a name!

The only this is...I want him to turn into a her..probably, unless I can find a really awesome male name...I'm not really looking for anything funny, and I would like something that sounds "Taureny".

Edit: Adding a SS of me and Snort just after tame.

I did a google search for Native American animal names and found http://www.lowchensaustralia.com/names/nativeam.htm.

I found Sanuye, which means Red cloud at sundown from the Miwok that I kind of liked. I know snort is purple instead of red but I can't find any "purple" names so red is the next best thing lol.

Catori means spirit in Hopi.

Hehewuti is warrior mother spirit in Hopi.

Kakawangwa is Bitter in Hopi which sounds pretty good for a hyena.
