Waffling....please help.

Two nights ago, I was setting up for an ICC 25 when two of the officers slipped up and said that I was a "garbage player" when they saw me drop group so I could finish a quest. They assumed I had been removed from group.
I just sat there gasping....one of the officers has a reputation for being a huge jerk, but the other one, I thought I had a good relationship with him. I had been feeling rather proud of my skill and my gear, but thier comments really hurt my feelings. When I called them on it, they acted like I was being a defensive female. I spoke to the raid leader, and so did my druid friend who is the main healer, and we both dropped group.
Now, I really like this guild, and I have quite a few friends in it, but I can't just sit by and be treated like trash. =( My question is this. Do I speak to the guild leader about the two officers behavior, or simply /ignore them? My druid friend is the one that told me, and as he is an officer, he could potentially be demoted or gkicked.
Should I just transfer off-server altogether?
Help. ='(

I would see where you stand.. Why did they say those things about you? Was it really their business to say such hurtful things? Bottom line is your not being a defensive female because someone is being a complete (pardon my swearing) asshole to you. Thats ridiculous to say such a thing and think it wont hurt someones feeling. If they demote/gkick your friend for sticking up for you than they are the saddest type of WoW player out there. The power hungry IDGAD players - they care about themselves and nothing but - if they do that then they feel they cant "control" this friend of yours. Its utterly stupid and this kind of thing frustrates me more than anything, I say dont let it go if you do they may think you have forgotten or think they can walk all over you - never let someone have the power to do that.

It'll all work out

I think you and your friend should basically just tell them off, tell the GL off if he demotes you or your friend for calling them on being assholes, and leave the guild and find someone else because if the officers are calling you trash and being two faced slime buckets and the GL will punish you and your friend instead of the ones who really are rocking the boat, then flat out, they don't deserve you and obviously they aren't much above the level of a
Drinking Bird.

i had this in a guild before , i simply talked to the guildleader who then set evrything right , i had a conversation with the both of us and told us both to stay away from eachother or talk it out like mature people
we had a long talk and now were quiet good friends
my advice , talk to your guildleader

Absolutely not! Behaving that way is unacceptable! Tell your guildleader. If that doesn't work, /gquit.

^ This, a thousand times this. People need to understand that in WoW and in the real world you cannot treat people this way without consequences.

Yes, you need to stand up for yourself, and your friend. If you and him- or him rather, would get kicked over an incident sparked by two brown nosers, than obviously the GL has his hands in the wrong pockets/cookie jars and doesn't really care about the people or appreciate them. I can understand that there will always be scuffles and as such, but punishing victims is NEVER acceptable.

I couldn't say it better than Ryai and Saturo already have. (Would that make it "seventh'd"?)
There is no such thing as "just a game" when people hurt your feelings. They're dismissive because they know they fucked up and are trying to shift the burden of blame onto you. Fuck 'em.
Talk to your GM, and if he isn't supportive I'd say that it's not the kind of guild you deserve.
Another point of explanation:

Another point of explanation:

I completely agree right here, get a guild that appreciates you, you can still stay friends with some of the people in the guild and chat and run randoms - especially if
they support you - so talk with the GM if it don't work out...screw them..
