*Flash Back of Memories- 6 years old*
“ Daddy wait for me!” A little girl cried.
A tall, white hair man turned around, and grasped the little girl in a hug.
“ I am sorry Starstrasza, but you are not old enough to go.”
“ I am too! I can carry your sword around.” The little girl replied with tears forming.
“ My child, there will be a day when you will be able to fight along side me.”
The little girl sniffled and says “ You promise?”
“ Oh course I do.” The man replied and gave her a big hug.
The little girl went running back to a nice sized house and grabbed on to her mothers dress.
“ Be careful Tirion.” The older lady said.
“ As always” Tirion replied and rode off.
*Second Flash Back-12 years old*
“ Hey Arthas, Varian, wait for me!” Starstrasza yelled.
“Do you think she should come along with us, I mean she is a girl.” Varian said.
“ I’m not sure. I mean, she is cool but yeah we do boy stuff.” Arthas replied with a straight face.
“ What are you guys doing?” Starstrasza asked with a smile.
“ Going to go practice fighting.” Arthas said quickly.
“ Can I come?
They boys looked at each other then at Starstrasza.
“ Yeah I guess, just don’t get in the way.” Varian said.
* Third Flash Back- Around 21 yrs old*
“ Hey great job on becoming a Knight of the Silver Hand, Starstrasza.” Arthas and Varian said.
“ Thanks guys! It’s great finally making it!” Starstrasza replied
They all looked at each other and smiled.

Present Day

Tirion is riding on his great white steed, riding next to a person on a big black horse who had the armor of one of the steeds from the knights of the silver hand long ago, but partially torn in the cloth areas, and the once silver armor, slightly turning black. The rider, wearing black armor with skulls on it and strange etching, wearing a long black cape with fur around the collar and a hood attached. The hood covers the riders face all you can see are the glowing green eyes that pierce the black.
“ Are you ok Starstrasza? Tirion asks.
“ The rider looks at him and replies, “ Yes father, Just… Remembering…” and slowly trails off.
They both stop their horses in the road.
“ Are you sure my child? You seem rather bothered ever since we left to head for Stormwind.”
Starstrasza patted her horse.
“ I doubt he will remember me. After all he has been through, and what I am now…” She trails off again.
“ Don’t think anything like that. You are who you used to be. Nothing has changed. Just your power, you are still one in the same.” Tirion said with a rather stern voice.
“ But I am not father… I’m.. I’m a once great Paladin, killed and raised as a powerful Death Knight…. How am I the same?”
Tirion looks at her and laughs.
“ Your name is still the same right? You still have you sense of humor, your personality, your lovely traits. You are the same, just different powers now.”
Starstrasza smiled at her father and couldn’t help but chuckle a bit to herself.
“ I hope he doesn’t hate me..”
“ Why would he?”
“ Because of serving…” Starstrasza trailed off looking into the distance.
“ You had no choice. You did what you had to.”
“ Yes. I suppose you are right. But what if he asks what happened? I do not think I am ready to tell anyone yet. Besides you father and you already know.”
“ Just tell him you will when you are ready. I am sure he will understand. Now, let us continue on before it gets late.”
Finally they reach Goldshire but it was to late to continue on, and they were both tired from the long ride. They leave their horses at the local stable and walk into the inn.
“ What can I do for ya?” asked the inn keeper.
“ Two rooms please.” Tirion replied.
The inn keeper handed them both a key and they headed into their room. Tirioin went straight to sleep, but for Starstrasza, it was much harder. Ever since she got free from the Lich King she has never been able to sleep sound or fall asleep fast. She lied down on the bed and looked at the ceiling. As soon as she closed her eyes, images of the Arthas before he was the Lich King and him as the Lich King filled her mind. She quickly opened her eyes and looked around. She had a cold sweat. She knew she wasn’t going to be able to fall asleep anytime soon. She laid back down and closed her eyes again. Finally after a few hours she was finally starting to fall asleep when she could hear the Lich King’s voice,
“ Starstrasza… I know where you are…”
She quickly sat up, breathing hard and sweating more. She looked around franticly and even ran and looked out the window. Nothing was there. She laid back down and finally fell asleep.
The next morning Tirion and Starstrasza geared up and headed toward Stormwind. They left early in the morning, so they wouldn’t have to worry to much about drawing any sort of crowd. Finally they reached Stormwind keep. Tirion got off his horse and handed the reins to one of the guards. Starstrasza stayed sitting on her horse and just stared down the long hall. Tirion walked up to the side of her horse and looked at her.
“ Are you ok?”
“ I.. I don’t think I can do this.”
“ Yes you can. I believe you are ready and I am confident.”
She looked down at her father and smiled.
She got down off her horse and handed one of the other guards the reins to her horse. Her horse whinnied and reared up. When he landed back down she gently patted him.
“ Shh. It is alright Shadow Storm, everything is going to be ok.”
Her horse let out a little whiney and no longer put up a fight with the guard. She still had her cape on and its hood so no one could see her face. As they reach the top of the hall, they saw Varian standing in front of his chair, only his son was still asleep since it was early, and Bolvar no longer at his side. Starstrasza’s stomach dropped to the floor. She wasn’t sure if she should be happy and excited or scared. She just looked at the ground while her father went up to Varian.
“ Varian, it is so good to see you again.”
“ And you to Tirion.”
Varian noticed the person who arrived with Tirion and asked,
“ I did not know you were bringing someone Tirion. Who is it?” as he said this he took a step toward Starstrasza.
As he took a step forward she took one back and as she did her cape reveled some of her armor.
“ A death knight.” Varian said quietly.
“ Yes Varian but not just any death knight.”
Varian looked at this death knight and saw no difference between this death knight and the others allied with the alliance. The only thing he noticed was this death knights armor seemed more like a generals armor then just someone low on the totem pole.
“ Who are you?” Varian asked the death knight.
Starstrasza was to scared to answer even though she has been in worse situations.
“ Well who are you?” Varian said only more stern.
Tirion looked at Starstrasza and knew she was to afraid to talk but knew she had to.
“ Well tell him.” Tirion said.
“ I will fight you if I have to just for you to reveal yourself!” Varian replied with a sharp tongue.
Before Starstrasza could get a word out one of the guards came up and whispered to Varian.
“ Sir, I do not think this is some ordinary death knight, it rode up on a horse with the armor of a Knight of the Silver Hand on.”
Varian nodded at the guard and he left. He then looked at the death knight with a small grin.
“ So you used to be a paladin of the Silver Hand.”
Finally, Starstrasza gave in.= and knew she could keep silent no longer.
“ I am sure if you went and looked at my horse you would know who I am.”
Varians eyes grew wide as he heard this death knights voice.
“ It cant be! You dissapered! You were said to be dead!”
Starstrasza slowly removed her hood.
“ I was.”
Varian couldn’t believe what he was seeing. His old friend who he thought dead, was standing in front of him but not as a paladin but as a death knight.
“ I.. I cant believe it is you!” Varian was excited yet concerned at the same time but walked up to her and gave her a hug.
Tirion has a smile on his face, he hadn’t seen Varian so happy since he finally returned home. Starstrasza returned the hug and smiled.
“ It is good to see you my friend.”
“ And good to see you.” he replied.
They just looked at each other and smiled.
“ What happened? Everyone has always wondered, you were last seen headed to Lorderon before… well… before Arthas killed his father.”
Starstrasza was silent and repled softly,
“ I am sorry Varian. I.. I am not ready to talk about the past.” she then looked at the floor.
Varian understood what it was like not wanting to speak of the past.
“ I understand what it is like not wanting to speak of the past.” as he said this he put his right hand on her shoulder. “ When you are ready, I will be there to listen.”
Starstrasza smiled, she did not think he would understand how she felt or why she didn’t want to speak of the past.
