Posted on mmo.champ from a Beta Player is this pic of the new Baron Rivendare:

Aurius was the paladin in Alonsus Chapel who you needed to give the Medallion of Faith to so he could leave the Chapel without falling under the sway of the Scourge. He helps kill Rivendare and then dies himself.
So someway, somehow he gets resurrected and takes on Rivendare's name and looks.
No word on what he drops but hopefully the mount will remain.

So really its not the baron then. His name was Titus and he had a sword If hes not in strath i doubt he would drop the mount.

/shrug - Im fine with it Baron was killed in Naxx, its better than bringing him back...again

No joke, that made no sense to me. And he doesn't really LOOK like himself.

This makes me angry. I had the help of this particular paladin many, many times back during Vanilla on my search for my Lightforge leggings. I am not happy about this at all.

so can anyone tell me if straths going away?

Well at anyrate he could most likely just be a place holder model- like Tortolla was just a giant green turtle before they revamped a skin for him/her/it.


And he could have reasons of being a deathknight- remember WPL and EPL are getting revived a bit more or atleast one is, to an extent. The scourge could still be holding out, maybe some broke free from Arthas and weren't able to be reigned in when the 'new king rose'.

Anzu is probably safe; he's in Outland.

Yeah but I remember someone saying class specific quests are disappearing. And Anzu is specifically for a class specific quest for the most part- sure he drops loot, but you need a drood to summon him.

I don't see a boss being completely removed from the game, regardless of the circumstances. They might change him to work like the extra heroic boss in Mana Tombs, where anyone can summon him.

That would be nice for mount farming.

Agreed, Mania! And it'll be so nice for those of us without druid mains who would like it.

Yor is the extra boss. I don't blame you for not knowing him; I hated heroic Mana Tombs with a bloody PASSION in BC.
