Haha, we had this discussion ages back I think. I was considering making one but there really wasn't anyone here that used Facebook so I decided it probably wasn't worth it. x)

You can check with Mania though if you wanted to make one.

Yeah the facebook group and the wow group tend to not overlap too much.

Especially with the recent Real ID debacle, I'm sure a lot of people wouldn't even join because then their real name would be shown in a group.

I have Facebook, but it's not like I'm on it much. I find it convenient to stay in touch with friends that live away from me, and just an easy place to share photos and such. I really can't comprehend how people spend all day on it though. xD

I'm always on Facebook...Well, I say that but I have it open in a tab at all times and i'm not on when playing WoW. There was a time when I was 'always' on and a more active member. Now I only play 2 games on it and on the odd occassion comment on someone's wall or on a status. My friends who also had Facebook would actually just say to me irl about how much i'm on facebook and how if they needed to contact me they wouldn't need a mobile number (Which is good, as I despise phones), just log in to Facebook and the majority of the time I would be online! Even with playing hours of WoW a day chances are I would spend more time on Facebook then some of my mates who don't play WoW!

I suppose I got bored after all the unfunny/offensive groups got extremely popular with my peer group and would litterally just spam my News Feed, until it would eventually just say "This friend and 23 oher friends liked the potentially racist, extremely unfunny joke group".

I would probably join a Petopia page, and might throw some comments on there but i'm sure we would get faster updates on the forum, seeing as we have a huge community of over 300 members and quite a few regulars who love to keep as posted on all kinds of WoW news!

I have mainly used my FB for professional networking, so yeah... WoW-related groups, not so much.

No seriously, their approach on privacy is so incredibly ignorant of peoples rights, I wouldn't even dream about having an account on Facebook.

But that shouldn't keep you from doing whatever you like.

I know you're right Kara, but I just can't really abandon it now, seeing as it's a major professional networking tool for me... I'm not happy about it and have privacy settings set low and as little personal info as possible.

I used to be on facebook all the time... I got addicted so I felt it better to just deactivate my account. If you start this page, I will be very upset because then I'll have to go back on facebook and join it and be addicted again! lol

I have facebook but only for the reason that I don't see my friends very often and some of them I can only hook up with on facebook

Pretty much the same here.

Like most folks here I just use FB to keep in touch with friends and family. I also run one of their accursed zoos. But if you put Petopia there I will surely join.

I'm personally on FB whenever my computer is running (except when I'm playing WoW b/c of the lag) Granted, I'm a High Schooler, so that might have something to do with it.

Whenever I hear something about Facebook,I think of this little gem.

Anyway, on topic, I don't use Facebook much myself. Never really see the use for it actually. Still, I suppose a Petopia one would be nice for those that do use it.
