My friend told be other the glitch of being able to get underneath Stormwind. I suggest you try it as it's a very eerie experience.
This is where you enter

There are some barrels and a crate. You have to jump from the wood crate, onto the lamp on the wall then onto the ledge. Then walk toward the archery shop and you'll fall right under the whole city.

Give it a shot and check it out. It's really neat. A good challenge for high level horde toons is to try to get into there without getting slaughtered.

Hmm, I've always wanted to try this. Never got around to it though, probably because I don't have any Alliance characters.

Might be a fun challenge to try it as Horde, like you said. xD

You can also get to the roof OVER the auctioneers in SW by jumping onto the archway right next to the jumpo trough place, run across an invisibe ledge straight into the AH, as I showed Safrienaer.

And somehow you can get on top of the gates.

this is because stormwind is actually one large object placed on the world with NPCs and stuff populating the object so really stormwind is not built into Elwyn it kinda is sitting on top of it

I used to do this on my Small Druid (before deleting him) all the time... Never again. I accidently jumped through the wrong exit square (That's how you used to get out if it's dif. now) and was falling for ever, until a GM finally answered my ticket, summoned me to IF gate, turned me into a toad, and punted me all the way back to SW... THAT was fun, the falling forever, however, was not. haha

I have a friend back on my old relm Feathermoon that did this ALL the time so he would fall on top of me and surprise me -.-

It's actually very easy as horde to go under Stormwind, it's just a loooong walk.

I even brought raids there pre-BC to mess with alliance. Super old screenshot here.
