Underwater pets in anticipation of Cata

Thinking about the underwater zones, I'm contemplating swim animations on various pets. There are some, such as windserpents and worms, that have wonderful swim animations. Others, not so much. Do you think the swim animation could influence your pet choice in underwater zones? Which pets are your favorite swimmers?

Nope, the swim animation on pets doesn't bother me. I am, however, awaiting the day when my Skoll electrocutes the entire party while swimming. lol

Personally, I enjoy watching raptors and Devilsaurs swim. That's some amusing stuff.

i'm tempted to get a crocolisk just so i can watch his cute little feet turn under while he swims, it's like my most favorite pet thing, ever. xDD
I would probably only get annoyed by the worg-type wolf swimming animations. mostly cuz they're just so big and they swim awkward to me ;\
but not enough to want to change my pet.. i think. actually i'll probably end up having a fox anyway haha.

I enjoy all the pet swimming animations, except the crocoslime just looks funny to me, the devilsaur one I love the most. I always make the Jaws dunadunaduna sound when Old Blue is in the water, his 3 spines remind me of a shark fin

I love Skorn's swim animation, he looks so graceful and adorable underwater. ^^
Aside from him though I'm very much anticipating my beautiful Cataclysm crocolisk. I've always loved their swim animations, so it'll be great to see it more often.

I rellylike Wind Serpents, and to a lesser extent worms. Silithids win, tough.

I haven't seen all of them but so far my favorite is definitely the wind serpent swim. They're just gorgeous underwater. I remember excitedly telling my brother how neat it looked when I first tried it out. XD
I seem to remember liking the silithid swim back when I had Surge, too.
And on a slightly-related note, did they recently add a jump animation to boars? I don't remember whether or not they used to have an animation or if they had that picked-up-by-an-invisible-giant look. Hmm.

As far as I can recall boars have always had a nice jump animation, so it's been around for a while. ^^

I thought it was hilarious when most pet families didn't have any swim animations. Even better when for a patch pets did the normal walk animation in the water, and raptors were bugged that they walked on top of the water. Raptor Jesus, hah!
I think all pet families have swim animations now except certain spider models, such as the large tarantulas, don't.

Actually, the Vargul Blighthound wolf skin does not have a proper swim animation. Poor Cinders just walks around in the water when we go swimming.

I definitely support Devilsaur swimmers

The first time I saw it I had to run around in circles underwater screenshotting.
Also, SNAKES, yes! The cobras have an -amazing- swim animation.

Warp stalkers! I look for any excuse to go swimming with mine; she looks so predatory and natural in the water.

Wow, it seems like devilsaurs win in the swim department.
Waaaaaay back when I had a red rex, I would go swimming all the time just to see his little arms flapping in the water uselessly. XD Now that it's the King, it's even more funny. All I can think is "Aw look at your widdle arms! They are sho kewt!" He then throws me a look of deepest disgust, until I dig out sheep quarters for him to eat.
FACT - Tyrannosaurus Rex likes sheep noms. They're like Pringles. He will usually decimate a flock.
Also, warp stalkers ftw. I can't wait to tame one that isn't white or aqua.

I imagined my wind serpent to have the same issue when electrocuting stuff with me in the Wetlands XD; And her breed, as mentioned above, does have a very pretty swimming animation.
I also liked the scorpid swimming animation, no idea why. My scorp just looked so.... peaceful in the water as she drifted about. Also, I've never seen worms swim, but the snakes have a very nice animation for it, too

I can't wait to see if Gywn will continue to walk on water.

That would kinda suck.
I swear, I've reported the bug a million times to Blizz by now. My ghostsaber walks on water, in the middle of his name. That can't NOT be a bug, can it?
