This thread is for those who loves crabs, and want to know more about them in Cata...here's a pic to start you off:

I've never really been tempted to tame a crab, but these new skins look pretty bad-ass.

I can't wait to tame one of the new crabs in Cataclysm. I will probably hold onto the old model just for sentimental reasons. I have quested with Sindbad (the blue crab) for such a long time, he would be impossible to give up

Every time I see something about crabs in the Beta, I get my hopes up... I really want one of the red ones with runes that were datamined. Really really! Reeeeeeeealllllly!!!!! *nudges Blizz*

That happens to a lot of people, actually, because of the puzzles. I think my brother and I ended up getting frustrated and proceeded to guess the password through trial and error.

I have no first hand knowledge, but from everything I've heard, crabs are not funny. Getting them might be, but having them definitely isn't.

I agree. I made http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/elli ... index.html last night and can I tell you, they are the best crab cakes I have ever had. I left out the peppers (because red peppers don't like me anymore) and i didn't saute the scallions so they stayed crunchy, but this recipe is a must try. They were even better today for lunch as a sandwhich.

That's the one I want too, for my dwarf - currently he's got the "basic" red model with the mismatched claws and white underbelly, e.g. more like a RL critter expanded to large size, whereas the new Cata model (finally) has the "Blizzard look" we all know and love.

I just now noticed that the crab pet in the OP is HUGE!!! Although, don't foxes seem abnormally large right now as well? I do hope they scale the pets down just a tad.

Crabs are kind of that big on live too. Foxes need to either go away or shrink. :P

Big pets make me a happy hunter.
