So casters in Cata will be dressed as witches (apparently like that guy that kills a certain Horde leader...).

What do you think Hunters will be dressed as?.. judging by the cloth outfits, I'm getting a bit worried. Tin Man perhaps?...

We'll most likely get clown costumes, like in every expansion so far.

Our last 2 sets weren't bad.. except for the helms.. helm designer should be forced to wear them in public. At a business meeting.

Yeah, except for the helmets T9 and T10 have been bearable. FOR THE HORDE. Ally T9 is the second worst thing I've had to wear, right after Dragonstalker.

My guess is whatever we have will be shades of brown and look like it's made of wood. Like the last two tiers.
Either that or multicoloured and garish like we're covered in a fruit buffet.

I'm personally hoping for a red/fire theme with some of the tier sets (with Cataclysm occurring and all), though I do really like the Gilnean Gothic/London styles as well.

I want something like Giantstalker's. That was my favorite set thus far. The colors, the style, all of it. But knowing them, it will be something dark, dismal, and completely irrelevant to our class. (Ok, I do like the T10 stuff, just not the helm).

Veph should work in the art department.

Keep in mind that clothie set isn't a proper set, so their actual sets may be something else entirely.

I would relly prefer armour sets that made us look like...well...Hunters. Like, beasial themed...fur or cameo style, trappers, and wildmen type stuff. I would really like them to make armor sets that reflect the class.

I'm not really a fan of Giantstalker. It makes us look like some mix of oversized ringmail and clowns. I kind of like the northrend PvP sets. They look kind of like amouflage gear, and that hood is just awesome! <3

I agree, the pvp sets are great. Another thing I like is that they're not overly huge on us... I know the big shoulders are pretty par for the course, but if we're trying to stealth around and lie in wait of our prey like good hunters do then the more subdued armor set makes more sense to me. (Think Relentless or Furious.)

That's just... beyond words.

As for the topic I wouldn't mind a somewhat more calm look, the current pvp sets are as mentioned fairly decent in that respect. T7 was good as well I'd say, not flashy, even an orc doesn't look like a behemoth with it on. Season 4 is a good example where not too go. Felt like a friggin lighthouse.

And yes, the PvP sets actually look a lot more Hunter-like than the PvE sets.

Yeah, I wouldn't mind seeing some fur in there somewhere. With some earth tones, greens and such. I'm not really a fan of the pvp sets, as I think they look kind of drab... but a cool looking hood with be nice, maybe some claws thrown in on the shoulders or something.

Anyways, I hope we get something cooler then t10 helm... It looks like a block with a triangle on it I personally wouldn't mind it if we got the skin of the greatest beast of all the be our armor... If its anything like previous sets it'll almost always be something-stalker, thats that leads me to something like these:

Twilightstalker - Dark armor with dragons or twilight's hammer junk on it.
Tidestalker - Bright armor made of various sea creatures or coral.
Godstalker - Ancient Egyptian armor anyone? Anubis hats for everyone!

Maybe more depending on how many tiers they put out, hopefully won't be more than 5 for 1 expac...

I think some of my favourite Hunter sets were the Beast Lord Armor, Gladiator's Pursuit, Deadly Gladiator's Pursuit, and Conqueror's Scourgestalker gear.

I'm not really a fan of the brown wooden look we've been getting recently. I hope they veer away from that in Cataclysm.
