ZAM Beta Key Contest

ZAM is having a giveaway to celebrate the end of the world (or at least the end of Azeroth as we know it) and we’re giving away fifty chances to experience that post-dragonkissed world before anyone else.
That’s right – we have fifty beta keys to World of Warcraft: Cataclysm! All you need to do is tell ZAM the part of the upcoming expansion you’re looking forward to the most… it’s as simple as that.
How to Win
We have a sticky thread in the General WoW forums for the contest entries. All you have to do is post a response in the thread that states what you’re the most excited about in the new World of Warcraft: Cataclysm expansion. For example:
■Playing as a Worgen.
■All the new changes to old Azeroth. I can’t wait to see what it looks like!
■The new talent changes. My class is going to be OP. QQ moar newbs.
We’ll be collecting entries for the next seven days, and on Monday August 2nd, 2010, we’ll be announcing all fifty winners of the giveaway and we’ll then send you your beta key for Cataclysm! It really is that simple. Just submit the part of Cataclysm you’re most excited about, and you're golden!
Please Note: You must enter your contest submission at the designated forum thread. Any comments on this article will not be counted as submissions.
Additional Note: Both Tankspot and Wowhead will be having their own beta key giveaways in the next few weeks, so make sure you check out our entire network family for all of your chances to win!
++ If you're an AddOn author WoWInterface has almost an unlimited number of keys to give away.
Rules and Qualifications
■In order to use the beta key, you must have a WoW account in good standing.
■Posts in the contest thread that are not contest submissions will be deleted.
■Users may enter more than one Cataclysm item that they’re excited about, but only one entry will be counted per user.
■We reserve the right to remove entries if we feel like you're not properly participating in the contest.
■The contest begins on July 26th, and all winners will be announced on August 2nd, 2010.

Almost forgot:
According to Micajah on ZAM Blizzard has told them that the keys are not region specific so players from Europe can enter also. If it changes he'll let people know though.
And yeah, it is a drag trying to do anything right now because for me its knowing that Cata is on the horizon.

Heh, posted my lousy excuse of an entry. XD Seeing as I'm probably not going to get a random invite, it's best to enter in every single competition I can find. :P

I don't understand these "beta key contest".. Blizzard has said over and over that the ONLY way to get into beta is if your account is flagged for beta. Someone wanna explain this to me. Thanks.

The big fan sites are getting beta keys to give out. Kind of goes against their previous statement, but who am I to complain? :D

I wish they would not do it this way. This will only open doors for the scammers to try and steal your account.

We don't know how the keys will be given out. Maybe it'll be like the official Beta Competition, you send them a list of B-net emails and they activate the Beta on them.

With the scammers out there in full force, if you receive any invite saying you got into Beta ALWAYS manually go to your Battle.net account instead of clicking on any links in the email that got sent to you. If you got into Beta the download will be available on your account.

Yeah! I need some add-ons... for my... frozen account.
I haven't been on the lookout for competitions, because, as Adam said, I thought they didn't do beta key codes this time around.
Edit: Bleh, the WoW Interface one is just for people who make addons. Ohwell. WowHead and Tankspot are apparently planning on giving some away too.
Edit 2: Saturo, if you make addons, Curse is giving away keys too.

Splendid, splendid. I have made a few, but I'm a bit weary of uploading most. They're similar to what botters use, and some go against the license. I have a few moderately acceptable ones tough, like my music addon that can't be turned off and my Autogratz.
