I heard it's Hallows End on the Cataclysm Beta realms. This true ?

If it is, they must be doing something new this year.

Oh, new Hallow's End content would be nice! It's been the same for too long.

I can't imagine that they're testing holiday stuff this early in the beta. Too much other stuff to test and get working.

Indeed. They really ought to fix everything they've broken before they go about changing holidays!

Tought they might just be testing the seasonal stuff for bugs, which would make sense if they plan on releasing Cata close to an event.

Yeah, that's about the only thing that makes sense if they ARE testing that early.

Yeah, that's about the only thing that makes sense if they ARE testing that early.

Might not be that per sey, but could be that some of the content changed in the beta, possibly changing in patches, might in theory affect the events, and that could be what they're testing. So not just hallow's end but would think brewfest eventually too. As some changes are prolly coming in patches.

That would also make sense.

But still, they really should get the basics nailed out first, one would think.

I've been trying for it for two years...

So far it's dropped 6 times whilst I was in a group, and I lost the roll each time.

I got very very lucky the first I ever went in there. The mount dropped and I won the roll. I've never seen it drop sense then.

In TotalBiscuit's first video from Orgrimmar, he says they just had midsummer festival or something along those lines. So, they are most likely testing out the holidays, moving the decorations around so that they fit with the new land and so forth.
