I'm in and out today but I thought you might be interested in this post on Arcania: Two Taming Tweaks in Cataclysm.

In short: pets auto-level to three levels down instead of five. And you can tame up to five creatures before you have to head back to the Stable Master.

Also ... I think I might first have heard about these here, but I couldn't find the threads. If you can link 'em to me, I'll add credits to my post.

Well, there was a YouTube video linked somewhere earlier today, that showed off both these changes. Maybe that was it?

No, it was definitely before today. One of the reasons I hadn't posted this earlier is that I remember seeing it posted somewhere and thinking it would get spread around pretty quickly.

I'll check my Google Reader and see if it was a blog post from one of the blogs I follow -- maybe Frostheim. I didn't think to do that earlier.

I remember mentioning I had a wind serpent and spider stack onto each other....

I had empty active stable except for wind serpent, tamed spider, called pet, and there was a wind serpent. Abandoned, call pet, nothing. Went off on my taming spree, check stables later and there's my spider...?
