Why is there no thread on Malfurion here yet? Well I'll fix that. Because the model looks quite good even if I still wonder how can he grow a beard from his...cheekbones.

He's a night elf. They can grow beards from ANYWHERE. Trust me...

My question is, are those wings on his arm natural...Or did he tear them off some bird? Because if you ask me, that doesn't seem very druidy. Same with the bear paw shoes....And the antlers, though that's not too much of a stretch. I mean, have you seen some of the druid helms.

In all seriousness though, he looks pretty neat.

According to the lore, he, like many other great druids, was born with YELLOW glowy eyes and antlers. I can't see the yellow eyes here...

Hes an archdruid - Hes the greatest of all shapeshifters so I'd imagine an archdruid will look special rather than his plain older model. And the antlers were always there in some small form - http://www.wowwiki.com/Malfurion_Stormrage - If you look at his pictures they grew.. I mean I'd suspect being blessed by Cenarius that could happen

I'm really not impressed by his choice of foot wear. And he'd also look better without the fur/feather kilt.

He has those same blue striped lightning like bolts Koltira has.

Beard...am not liking the beard!!!

My main's a druid I want that as my flight form. Minus the awful beard. But its getting a bit confusing. I thought we were some kind of deer people...now we're bird deer people...not even owl birds. Geeze

As a Moonkin tho, I see in him some updates for our own skin that I would appreciate.

Why thank you now I'm more damaged (not that there is much to damage anymore) my brain.
Now I forever will think that Night Elves are related to Furbolgs.
Makes sense since druids do turn into bears.

The wings really do throw me off a lot. Kinda makes me think that Malfy is a moonkin. But the feathers might be just a part of something not finished...that or moonkin form is lost.

I still think he ripped them off a bird then attached them to his arm for lulz...

Couldn't it be that his time spent in the emerald dream has changed his physical body? It looks to me that all of natures manifestations might be trying to express itself here. Bear beard, cat clawed feet, moonkin feathers and deer antlers.

He looks like a druid who had a shapeshift forcibly interrupted.

My snap impression from yesterday was "Furry."

Is that a bunch of bananas hidden under his skirt/apron/kilt thing?

Also anyone thing he looks like a purple Wolpertinger

Nope, he's just mutating.

He's supposed to be part Owlbeast, it looks like to me. =P

I've got to say that I am not a fan of this. Updating his model from Warcraft 3 is one thing, but this is some kind of weird mutation of Malfy. They are smacking you way to hard upside the head with the whole "OMG, ULTIMATE DRUID! CAN CHANGE INTO ANYTHING!" thing. I get that he is THE archdruid, but that doesn't mean he has to look like an amlgam of various shapeshifting forms.

Oh right, archdruids... Any new models for Staghelm or Runetotem?

Ah, w-well.....uh.....I can't mention Staghelm without some massive spoilers. Suffice to say that no, no he isn't growing wings out of his arms.
