I been told winterspring frostsaber might be removed in beta.... can someone find out for me thanks


winterspring frostsaber mount purple 1 that you have to grind for..

i heard someone talking about it was removed in cata? can anyone confirm or deny this for me?.
really hoping no because otherwise ill be doing some old fashioned grinding >.<

They won't be removing it. They may change how you get it, but not remove it.

I hope they do. I am working on the rep on my main, but I compared to the venomhide raptor it's ridiculous how hard it is to get.

They really won't. Saturo's 100% right about that.

It amazes me the difference in time involved (not the mention the soul-killing boredom vs the running around with cute baby raptor) with the Wintersaber vs the Ravasaur.
Ravasaur is 20 days of dailies, that, correct me if I'm wrong, don't take that long.
Wintersaber is...well, those of you how have it/are grinding for it, you know *shudder* To think there was a time when those quest turn-ins only netted something like 50 rep each.
I could do the math, but it will only be depressing.

Ravasaur dailies are quick and painless, and rather fun too. Wintersaber ones are boring, dull and slow. I'm lucky I didn't want that mount back when it was hard! :D

I gave up on the wintersaber cos it made me go to sleep! this is he girl who has every buyable mount you can get on cow :S i loved the baby raptor.

It's a terrible grind. I'm not even out of Neutral on Silinrul yet, it's just plain annoying and repetitive. AND that's with what, the 150 rep per quest now? That's IMPROVED. Just.../shudder

Worse still is every time I go up to try and grind this on Sil, there's at least 3 other people doing it too, killing all the chimaeras and bears for stupid meat. It's annoying enough to do as it is with a poor drop rate and lacking mobs without competing with three other 80's. Sigh.

Yeah but the thing is the Saber was ingame for far, far, far longer than the Ravasaur has been ingame for- can you imagine what it would have been like if it was exactly the same as the wintersaber trainer as of now? Un'goro crater and Tanaris would just be desolate places of corpses.

Tho yes I do hope that the quests are changed because now it really is an unfair advantage...

still too long of a grind. If anyone really wants the Wintersaber and wants to start a new char heres my strat that I did:

1. Create a horde
2. Level it to 50 (i think minimum is 50 to start venomhide quest)
3. Do 20 days of dailies
4. Get Venhomhide Rav mount
5. Faction Change

You'll have a Wintersaber sub-60 Thats an accomplishment
