Just wondering, does the worgen curse mirror the werewolf curse paramaters of being transmitted through a bite?

Yup, that's how the infection starts. You do a quest early on, and get bitten by surprise. You then get a debuff that tracks how far along the infection is.

Okie Dokie. Wondering...if being bitten was the only way to get the curse, would the a leader or leaders of the Alliance have a problem with the Worgen trying to pass on the curse to others like Garrosh is having problems with Sylvanas and the Forsaken?

Hmm... That would be a good plot point, Keem, tough I kind of doubt it. They consider it a curse, aye? I don't think they want to afflict more people with it. Tough Garrosh deserves it. Evil-Werewolf-Orc-Warchief!

Without giving anything away, the worgen wouldn't do that. The feral's might, but the alliance side worgen wouldn't.

But, how can they continue the race then if it's a curse that they dont want to spread, LoL. I wish that Worgen and Undead wouldn't be a race but a condition you could get on any race cause I definantly rose some orcs from the dead playing WC3 today, LoL. I was thinking what if the Worgen did wanna continue the curse and so did the Forsaken(as far as bringing people back from the dead)....can you say Third faction . Sorry if I seem off, been up for like 20 hours and reallly not tired .

Technically, the Worgen aren't a race, they are cursed humans. I would imagine that they don't propagate by spreading the curse.

This is completely different. They don't want to continue their race. Their race is human, just cursed. They ((or you)) can return to human form at any time. And the normal, uh, breeding rules apply.....

Kinda cops out the idea of having them classified as a 'race' then, don't ya think?

Okay, okay, if you want to get down to brass tacks normal people don't really feel comfortable around the worgen. SO it make's sense that they'd have their own little society.

For some reason I just see like The Forsaken and The Worgen coming together and making a third faction because they once were humans and now they have an affliction that makes them different from the norm of Humans. Maybe in a future expansion, Blizz may introduce either some kinda demon-touched human or even*gets Sigh-sheild ready* vampires to add up more ex-humans if you will. Remember kids, I'm just thinking of future stuffs . I guess reading D&D books should not be done while thinking of Cata. craze LoL.

Not happening. The worgen HATE the Forsaken with a burning fiery passion. Sylvanas is seriously up there on their 'to kill' list. At this point the Forsaken probably don't like the Worgen/Gilnean's to much either, since they took such a large chunk out of their forces.

My first thought was maybe, after you're given the cure, it could make you a "sterile" werewolf, where you don't spread the disease by biting anymore. We had something like this in DnD.
