Hello! I just listen'd to Justin Beiber for the first time in my life and now I want to do one of two things:
1. Cut of his balls, thats not a man (the sex not a grown-up boy)
2. Force him to get a sex change.
Is this normal?
Your dear, Max.

I can honestly tell you that no, that is not normal.
You need to learn to put your anger aside over such trivial things.
What was that saying again: Don't sweat the petty things... and don't pet the sweaty things.

I never heard of that guy before so I just checked him out when I read this.
Honestly, the music is just electronic crap. It probably was done and mixed down in about a day or less. It's just your generic charts music, song no. 58348. To feel aggressions against that little boy is comprehensible, since this kind of music is
always drawing my aggro. But keep in mind that there are some reasons to calm down:
- most people like that kind of music
- it's the best selling music so it's the mostly produced music
- sex sells - while Brittney Spears sold music to little boys, Justin Bieber sells music to little girls
So your aggro shouldn't turn against that boy, who just takes his chance to make money and become famous, but against music industry moguls, who don't care what happens to that boy after people stop liking his music. That is all they do: Get someone with potential, invest money by hyping this person and then drain every dollar or euro out of that investment. CDs, T-Shirts and what other crap might be on sale.
The problem is not a young boy trying to make a fortune. The problem is the industry feeding the people crap and the people happily buying it.
Stop buying it. Switch to another station when it's on the radio. Don't buy merchandise. Tell everyone how you feel about that crappy stuff and why. If enough people do that, the music industry will see that there is no money to be made with this kind of cheap garbage. Then they will look for alternatives. It's your money they want. Deny to give it to them.
It's just like TV. Everyone complains about the crappy program but no one stops watching. TV-stations want you to watch. As long as you do, they won't change a thing.
Oh, I sold my TV about 11 years ago and you can't imagine the spare time I gained from that. And with music, I only buy stuff I like, Metallica and Motörhead are always sure to draw some money from my wallet, the rest stays in the shop.

Calm down. It's just bad music. Like they said, it's music for little girls. Are you a little girl, Max? Since you're not the target audience, I very much doubt you'd like his music.

Yeah, I'm not a fan of this guy, but I certainly don't harbour any hate for him... It's a waste of emotions on a person that has done nothing to warrant your ire.

My little cousin loves his music and she has the biggest crush. That's what they're aiming for. Nothing is really worthwhile enough about him to me. Make fun of him with friends if you want, have a laugh or just forget him but I think you're going too far in seeming as upset over it.

my god, if I were to get worked up every time I heard some pop music that I found insignificant (which is pretty much all popular music, really... I'm a classical musician), I'd have been dead of a heart attack 40 years ago.
if I had a fit every time someone crowed about the brilliance of this or that singer/group (for example, Bono... my god, if I let it, he'd be the death of me), or how such and such song is a "masterpiece"... or worse yet.. when people start going on about how the soundtrack to a certain film is a masterpiece (*cough*inception*cough*)... oy... I'd have to jump off the roof of the tallest building.. and sadly, that would mean permanent injury and all of its inherent cost to replace damaged gear, rather than the desired perma-death (I live in a really small town.. the tallest building just... ain't that tall).
