Skin changing monkeys

Hello there,

I'm new'ish to the forums, so this will be one of my first posts here.
I have been looking through the posts, and couldn't find anything about the vale howler monkeys, and that they're changing skin/colour when summoned.

They seem to shift between three different skins. I've tried summoning my monkey several times, and it only had the three types of skin. I've seen that there is at least one more skin for them; the grey'ish one.

Anyway, here's a picture:

About the name of my pet, I just couldn't resist. I'm usually very picky about my pet names, but this one is an exeption. :P
I really hope they are planning on doing something to the face of these. They look.. Well, I think my pet's name expresses what I mean. :)

That's what she said!!!!

Argh, sorry, couldn't help myself.

But in all seriousness, it does seem like the pets in Cataclysm are ridiculously huge right now. I'm really hoping they get scaled down a bit. Yes, having large pets is pretty cool (especially devilsaurs), but it's a bit overkill when it looks like they can't even fit through a door.

Large pets are fine when it suits their species. Small monkeys and foxes though just look bizarre blown up to such proportions.

Indeed, Veph.

If it's something I learned when I modelhacked Stereo to a gnome, it's that pets that are three times as big as your character can look awesome. It can also look really bad.

Not a fan of the monkey models so far. I'll stick with the gorillas.

I hope they change the animation for the monkeys, they look ridiculous beating their chests and scratching their butts.

I can't wait to have a monkey I like the first one! I'm glad they gave them tails. Still...shame they don't throw poo which would give a blind effect or stinky stun.

Not to mention their running half sideways when attaking. That looks pretty weird too..

And oh my their sound.. So horrible..

I seriously hope they will improve this beast, cause the way it is now, it's close to a joke..

The gorilla model, whose animations these guys borrow, does that too. I doubt it's going to change.

Yeah, but I guess it just looks odd when the monkey does it..
But if they end up changing/tweaking the monkey model, it might not look as bad as it does now.
