Sarltooth Has Been Changed

I found Sarltooth this morning while flying around the wetlands and he has been changed into one of the new undead bone raptors and is no longer tameable.

Hey...didn't he used to be a quest mob? Now it looks like he's rare.

O.O Does anyone have him tamed? Will he still be a skelly if you get him before Cata goes live? Because zomg. I'm sure they'd change it, just wistful thinking...!

I went and tamed him on live and did a character copy and did not get the new bone skin. He stayed the same blue skin color.

How interesting but not surprising. Blizz would never allow anything THAT cool to happen to us hunters.

Somehow I expected that. When they changed him from a quest mob into a rare, he probably got a brand new ID to boot. :( Technically it's not the Sarltooth we currently have, but a rare spawn named after him.Shinwa_Ryu wrote:I went and tamed him on live and did a character copy and did not get the new bone skin. this time blizz actually changed the entire NPC and not just its model thats why it doesnt change to the new skin
its not uncommon for blizz to make 2-5 different versions of the same NPC.

you cant tame him, he is also somewhere in my post . I also put more colours there.
He's undead on this moment...bleh...
But hey nice picture you got there^^ now lets hope he goes as beast to Cata.
