I finally tamed Loque! I had near given up hope when I found her dead in front of me a few nights ago, but I decided to give it one last all-day camp this morning since I'm off work. I logged in and started to make my rounds, when low and behold, there she was, just idly roaming around the lower gorilla spawn. My freezing arrow missed and hit a monkey , but I popped a potion of speed(500 haste) and started the tame. I was shaking so hard when it finally finished.

She was tamed at around 11:30 AM on Alexstrasa, for anyone else that is hunting her and wants a rough guestimate of her respawn time.

Now I just need a name for her. Any suggestions?

I'm still searching for mine, but when I get it I'll either be naming it Comet or Starfall (the latter's my preference but my hubby insists Comet suits him better).

What kind of name are you looking for?

Maybe something Celestial themed. I may go with my standard kitty name of Zukauni, it means "claw friend" in the language of one of my stories. My ghost wolf used to be Tajauni, which means "Ghost friend", he's currently Tovauni, or "Fanged friend".

Other names I'm considering:

Moondance/Stardance - because the kitty from sholozar I kept with me while hunting Loque was named Sundance
Esther - means "star"
Keena
Kanaqi

That's about it. Any suggestions would be great! I especially love names that start wit 'K' or have odd sounds, like Kanaqi

Congrats! I keep looking for him. I've wanted him ever since I first rolled my hunter. I've come close.. dead bodies and seeing others tame him but alas it's not meant to be just yet.

We all know that... That doesn't mean you're not allowed to select the gender of the pet you tamed. It's a game for christ sake, if Kyonarai wants Loque to be female, then by golly she's female. (Besides, "mate" isn't gender specific. Nothing says Har'koa doesn't swing both ways. ;P)

Har'Koa and Loque having kids, however, kind of makes it obvious that one is male...

But yeah, you're free to choose the gender yourself.

My favorite of all the spirit beast and only 2nd to Krush in my heart. I really hope that the bonus that SB have in Cataclysm is a good one so I will be able to use him often.

She (or he if you prefer!) is a lovely cat. I'm very pleased with the one in my stable, even if I'm still trying to pick just the right name.

Loque is my favorite of all spirit beasts and the one original spirit beast in my opinion, I saw him when Wrath was still in beta and my jaw dropped and I had to have him /hugs her Tenseiga!

This was exactly how I felt until I tamed Arcturis. Though Arc is my fave now (well, without having Loque tamed it's hard to compare), I have to have Loque. He's been my white whale since I saw the first picture of him. <3

Oh yeah, I kinda forgot to mention that I was roleplaying the Loque I tamed as an older 'child of Harkoa' that had come into her coat. The one I tamed just didn't strike me as a boy.

But in any case, I've named her Kanaqi for now. I'm not sure if I'll stick with that or not, but I don't like having unnamed pets.

GRATZ!!!! Loque is by far my fav looking SB. When I saw Har'koa, I knew I wanted Loque. He's (or she's) the only pet I have on both of my toons and will be that way. Of course, if I can tame Krush, I'd drop Sewer Beast for Krush.

Maybe get Mosh on alli hunter...hmmmm.... guess more time in Un'goro for me then

The Asari in Mass Effect can mate with either sex. Who knows, maybe spirit beasts are the same way

huge congratz on this gorgeous beast. I got mine after a week. well maybe it would have been wise to lvl one lvl for the cold weather flying but i ididn't

I named mine Posner but i might consider renaming him to pusner.
I wanted to have my Loq to have a terryfying name my fellow players should be afraid off! well here it is Posner
the reason it's terryfying is. Posner is a doctor who discovered the locked-in syndrome. Which is in fact a near to ful paralyse. You can roll you're eyes,look,listen i think smell but the main problem is the fact you can think. Meaning you're trapped i u'r body whilst being aware of it. (sorry am a house-freak here) and i'm very fond of my Posner
