Yeah this is a bit weird. Especially if you change the spelling of a certain word...

No, that is not inappropriate. It's a take on the saying "Great things come in pairs" and if you take it any other way then you are just being dirty.

Oh I didn't say I didn't understand going into the gutter. *Laughs* But it really is just a play on words, as opposed to purposeful perversion.

But you have to admit that this picture's going to make its rounds on the internet, Palladia, with much guffawing and rofling.

I can't exactly say I didn't instantly know what you meant, Royi. *cough*

"great things come in bears" - let's just say the bear with the hat is a "great thing"... Yes?

I think the reception of this ad (as opposed to the intention behind it, which is presumably innocent) would be a bit less creepy if it weren't for the pedobear meme. (More info at Know Your Memes:

Aaah... :P
I doubt pedobear (which opine tried to change to peso ear 0.o) will have much effect on this for the target audience. (Kids, right? Doesn't seem like an adult movie. Except for the bearhat thing...)

Heh thats what made me post this when I saw it. Yogi looks creepy, and Booboo looks well, excitedly suprised?
Mania- I heard about that bear long ago but never looked up any info on it - funny/yet twisted stuff there. Reminded me of the Sexual Harrassment Panda from South Park

~ It doesnt look like something I would take my son to either. I loved Yogi as a kid, but a real life type thing? Scary.

WHAT THE HELL MAN. WHAT THE HELL.
What are they doing to my childhood!? They're turning all of my old loves into cheap, crappy, ugly, 3D ripoffs! Uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuugh!!! First it was the Chipmunks, then it was the Smurfs, now it's poor Yogi Bear!? Hhhhhnnngh! Hhhhnnnnnnnnnnnnnggghhh! /heaving noises
...I guess I can cope. I guess. As long as they don't screw with my beloved Biker Mice from Mars. OH WAIT. ENGLAND ALREADY DID THAT. THANKS BRITS.

They got smacked with the Blandomatic brush, like, really badly. Plutarkians, gone. Bikes, screwed with because they looked too 'American'. Guns, even the lasers they used to carry, totally pussified. I mean. It was so BAD THAT I COULDN'T WATCH IT AND ITS MY FAVORITE SHOW IN THE WHOLE ENTIRE WORLD AND THEY MADE GAMES AND CLOTHES AND TOYS AND A SHOW AND IT'S ALL SO HOOOOOOORRRIIIBBBLLLE. /wail

Yeah, I'm not sold on it... Too much "kids" stuff today is either too dumbed down for the kids (and my son's two!! Kids catch on really quickly if the stuff is trying too hard to be "child like."), talks down to the kids, or tries too hard to be something for all age groups.
Right now, my son's two favourite movies are Robin Hood ("FOXES!") and Lady and the Tramp ("Lalitram"). He's also fond of Lambert and Ferdinand.

I'm so happy he prefers "classic" cartoons to the drivel that gets pumped out today. /relief.

I did it so that you wouldn't do it to yourself. Now you have someone to blame.
YOU'RE WELCOME.
