Ok so i got my blue(azure) netherwing mount and thought of a background story for him and my hunter Siliverin. i havent thought of a name for my drake yet since, he would be a sibling to all the ones in shatt, and the others who were born before him. so pretty much itd go like this- ( not gonna really type it like a story)

So, Siliverin ( aka Sili) is helping the netherwing fight the dragonmaw orc to help get their kin back and out of the wrong hands. Well as she is helping them, by foiling the dragonmaw plans she is collecting the eggs of the netherdrakes and getting them back and out fo danger. On her journey she finds a strange Blue netherwing egg. All the others were the same purplish color. She takes it and as she flys to get it to saftey she cant help but stair at it. She puts it in her pack to keep it safe when she is shot out of the sky ( she is no longer in dragonmaw illusion) her main concern was to keep the egg safe. When she checked before she attacked it was glowing... She had no time to figure out why she kept the pack close and attacked teh dragonmaw. they were coming at her fast and swift. Dodging and attacking. she did everything to fend them off. Finally after getting the last attacker down, she ran toward saftey. When she finally did, the older nether drakes took the egg and also noticed it glowing they just smiled and Sili didnt know why and wasnt gonna ask. Finally after helping them for so long and really putting a dent into the dragonmaw forces she was with the netherwings, when one came out with a blue (azure) nether wing following behind it. She noticed and it just ran up to her and nuzzled her. The head male said " Siliverin, you have helped us much in taking down the dragonmaw and helping our kin. when you took that blue egg, and protected it with your life, you formed a bond with the unborn drake." he looks at the azure drake " he is now your loyal friend and gaurdian because of that." Sili didnt know what to do or say, she could only smile and bow. sili and the drake become the best of friends, companions and travel buddys. they are always there and if u mess with one you have to face the other too..


soo yeah thats their story in a nutt shell.. i just... need a name for my drake help would be loved

Tokueler. Sounds cool IMO.

Sounds like a pretty good story. The bonding part is similar to many dragonrider books I've read, so I can get in on the story too. Kind of like Eragon, I guess. I'm not sure WoW dragons work like that, but as far as the story goes, it seems solid. :)

ty i havent read any dragonrider books hehe. Ive read ones that deal with chess in a sence. im thinking of turning into a full story, and i REALLY like that name

-aku seems to be the suffix the Nethers follow. For example, my nether drake is Azrenarku, Azren for short. Examples being Nelthaku, Karynaku, Mordenaku, Veraku, Toranaku. (Azren is different because I've though it was -arku for the longest time....>.< Too late to change now, besides. I like it.) So...Vornaku, Razrnaku, Oranaku, etc.

Anyway, I also like the story.

However, as you see by the drakes in Shattrath, not all drakes follow this pattern. There's suffixes for each flight, (below) but some dragons don't follow them.

As for future reference, if you want to name a drake, here are the suffixes....

Red: -Strasz (M), -Strasza (F)
Black: -ion (M) -ia (F) This is rough, they also follow flame or black themes.
Blue: -gos (M) -gosa (F)
Green: No real pattern, however they do have variants of sleep (Dreamclaw, Morphine, etc.)
Bronze: -dormu (M), -dormi (F)
Nether: -aku

This is all I've noticed, though. If anyone else notices naming patterns, feel free to correct me.

I don't really have anything to add regarding a name, I just wanted to suggest you read the Dragonriders of Pern series. Books 4-6 (Dragonsong, Dragonsinger, and Dragondrums) are wonderful and the whole series is a super easy read.

Just reread Dragonsong, ironically...

I am so torn between tokueler, Dorithur or Dorithuraku, Al'shar or Al'sahraku.

ill have to look em up and see if the local b&n has em

I vote for Al'sahraku. It has a really nice ring to it.
