Have we had a topic about this?

I'd love it if, when you hit 80 on any class, you got a special title related to that particular class. "<name> of the Light" for paladins, for example, or "Magister <Name>" for mages. Etc, etc.

I'd also love it if PROFESSIONS gave you a title when you maxed them, related again to that profession. "Apothecary <Name>" for alchemists, for example.

What do you guys think? What titles would you give to each class/profession?

How about SV and MM then? Ideally, there'd be one title for each spec, like Ranger (MM), Hunter (SV) and Beastmaster (Zoologist?) (BM). Just my take on it tough.

The only problem with that is some classes don't really have such a varied selection of talent trees. Druids and paladins have a wide variety of potential names, while rogues or mages are pretty much dps no matter how you look at it. Something more generic for each class might be better.

It'd also be a pain in the butt to lose/gain titles every time you swap specs. I hated that enough when I swapped between patron/matron while flying over Brunhildar on my male rogue.

I was looking on our PoV on our love of animals, especially when we are gonna have 20 extra stable slots come Cata. We'll definitely be having a zoo of animals then.

Beastmaster sounds good for BM though.

Maybe Survivor or Pyro Technician for SV. I was thinking Pyro Technician because of the TNT spec and the Explosive Shot spec.

True, but having the pets that obvious wouldn't work, because they are really only prominent in one spec. You wouldn't give Mages the title Casters of Living Bomb, because only one spec gets that. It's pretty much the same for MM and SV regarding the pets.

Hmmm... Beastmaster FuzzyDolly, Ripper of dead animal flesh & Tanner of animal hides... that has a nice ring to it. LOL Seriously tho, a professional title would be awesome.

BeastMaster Phantomwolf. Apotherary Phantomwolf? XD, alchemy rules. But besides that this is an awsome idea because when you max out you have something to look forward to other than just 'hey I reached 80, what no gratz?' [Seriously I did not get one gratz from my guild when I reached 80...T_T]
