Beta Tester Requester

Righto, now that a number of folk around here are gonna be running about in the beta, I thought I'd throw out a couple of requests :)

First and foremost, I realise little to nothing is being done with Outland, but could someone please visit Nagrand for me and nab some screenies of how the new water effects look there, including the waterfalls n stuff? And maybe a peek into Garadar to see if Greatmother Geyah is still alive/present? Hm... if Outland is even active in the beta that is...

Secondly, Durotar! My brain needs to know what is under the water in Thunder Ridge. All those thunder lizards have been drowned, but have they been replaced with anything? Gil Goblins? Crocs? Floating Burning Blade Adept Corpses? Also too, are those annoying Harpies still present in the canyons to the east of the zone?

Third, Thousand Needles. Has anyone gone under the water there yet? So much area underwater, have they put any sea creatures in there? Or maybe the centaurs that were there are now just ghosts on the sea floor?

Fourth, I can haz cookie now?

Thanks :)

Noooo don't give Blizzard ideas, I have enough of killing undead mobs on seafloors thanks to Bloodmyst Isle. Not again. Not agaaaain.

I'll go have a bit of fun in Nagrand now! And, as far as am aware, I've not seen any sea creatures in the 1k Needles. The Centaur now have some camps high up on the needles, so they obviously avoided the drowning!

Under the water in Thunder Ridge in Durotar you'll find lots of dead Thunder Lizards, some meat eating fish and dead cultists! You get a quest to remove the bodies of the Thunder Lizards from under the water, and to get an orb off of the goblin warlock you can kill in Live! And, unfortunately, the harpies are still present.

Last post for now:

The area where Rut'theran Village has, in my opinion, the best water effects as of yet! Made me stare slack jawed at the screen when I first saw it...the pic probably doesn't give it enough justics:

My brain needs to know what is under the water in Thunder Ridge.
So does mine. I will definitely look. I hope to find the bloated corpse of that wretched little goblin!

His bloated corpse is there...you get a quest where you need to take an orb off of him, but you have to take his hand with it too :x

I have one. What happens if you run around in the water? Splashes?

En route to Darkshore to test...can see the effects better in darker water! Oh, and, it ripples, not splashes :)

I have a question, what has changed in Tanaris/Feralas/Hinterlands?

Well, lookswise the Hinterlands is pretty much the same as it has always been. Only been there questing on Alliance, and we get a couple of new places where we can obtain quests (mainly as the whole zone is one giant quest chain). Basically involves us killing wolves, trolls, turtles, horde and finally the Spider God/Queen Shadra!

Tanaris, well...the shoreline now goes just outside of Gadgetzan. The Gates of Uldum are now open, and just inside looks to be Titan style machinery. There's also a path leading directly into Uldum which does look absolutely fantastic.

Feralas. Feathermoon Stronghold is gone! Well, the original one, it's relocated to near where the boat used to depart to there. Got washed away and destroyed by the Cataclysm, and now lies in ruins! Same goes for the Island just to the South of it! Thalanaar was also destroyed with the flooding of 1k Needles and replaced by New Thalanaar. There's also a mountain lake appeared above the Writing Deep!

I think I heard about some new horde explorers league in either azshara uldum or tanaris, can you confirm that?

And have the horde camps in hinterlands/feralas changed at all?

Oh and thanks for the info!
