My current collection is Grunter, King Krush, Arcturis, Loque'nahak, Grimtotem Spirit Guide

but the following have been abandond only to hopfully be tamed by some one who thinks they are more cool :-

I know some people farm night and day but thank god we are getting the stable slots! Any way what rares have you tamed and abandond?

Current collection is Humar, Loque, Nuramoc, Razzashi Raptor and Gondria.

To get this collection I have abandoned
Arcturis twice
Skoll
and Grunter while leveling.. Now seeing the model change coming I am regretting that decision
Planning on abandoning Humar for a Warp Stalker of some kind.

Atm I have SKoll, Ghostwolf (aka Grimtotem Spirit Guide), The ghost saber (from the figurines),White worg (which once was the White worgen pet) and a white croc (want to start soloing dungeons)

I dropped the ghost saber twice
for the rest i cant really remember dropping rare pets.

so basically till cata i wont have any spot left to get a new one >_>

Hmm...I've abandoned Skoll several times...dunno why I keep taming him...I've had both white wind serpents that were the lowest lvl white ones you could get at the time when there were caster pets, I've had Dart, Snort and Snarler, but they never really clicked with me...(Dart got replaced with Takk and he clicked better...a friend even gave me a leaping hatchling to go with him lol). Also had Araga, but didn't click either.

The rares I have kept is Rak'shiri, Humar, the red wind serpent in the Barrens, Takk, Loque, the white scorpid from 1k Needles...and I think that's for rare spawns...but when it comes to rare pets, I also have the black warp stalker and the red wasp.

On Agnas not too long ago, I decided to release Araga and a blue wind serpent for Azzere and the Ghostsaber. I know that the wind serpent isn't a rare but Araga definitely is. Since I already have those two on Fio, I almost had no regret releasing them on Agnas since I know they were still going to be safe with me.

Aside from that though, I haven't been much in a role with releasing rares or any other animals lately because I'll keep all my animals once I've decided what to have on one of my toons. Once I make my final decision, there's no turning back; they are gonna be there no matter what other rares I may run into or pets that look cooler. I am quite good in clicking with pets before I even tame them due to the excitement.

I've "tried" most of the rares about. The most notable ones I've abandoned were OCJ and Loque'Nahak (twice). Don't hit me over Loque; both times I tamed him, it was stupid o'clock. The first time we were under 5 minutes left till server shutdown and my guildmate was threatening to kill it if I didn't tame it, although I'm pretty sure that was a bluff The second time, nobody wanted it, was like 4-5 am. I love his sounds but his shape is just goofy >.> OCJ I actually like. Named him Grim, and raided ICC with him for a bit. But he was in that rotating spot and I ended up getting Death Howl for there for a bit instead. Have abandoned Snarler too, sadly

I will soon be abandoning Arcturis as well. He's also in that rotating spot, although I'm grateful to have nabbed him--he's really very beautiful.

Btw, I'm keeping Krush and Skoll

You should be keeping Krush. Something that's really hard to tame should be kept, no matter what. It's a huge accomplishment.

Yup, no intention of ever abandoning him or Skoll as I said, I love 'em both ^^

Hmm, I thought it was more than that.

I've owned and subsequently let go of all four Spirit Beasts. Some clicked, some didn't, but eventually I realized that none of them quite felt right for me. Loque and Skoll were definitely the ones I enjoyed most, but even then there was something hollow about them that I never quite figured out. Having felt no regrets since releasing any of them I know that I made the right decision for myself and have been much happier reuniting with old 'common' friends.

And that's it. I tend to keep my rarespawns. Aquillian has King Krush, Loque'Nahak, Arcturis, Skoll and Old Cliff Jumper. Ceryle has Aotona and Gondria (and assorted non-rares). =)
