Yes when you get the inch to tame pets something always happens, but let's just say I went a little too crazy on taming.....

On my main I just wasn't bonded with my dreadsaber despite his look that almost saying that he's a cheetos fan. I never really felt a bond with bane my red windserpent either only his looks got me so I went and tamed two new companion's for my little dwarf hunter.....

The first was the exotic Goretalon matriach, iv'e always wanted to try out the eagle model and she was just to gorgerous to resist



despite being female I thought that the name nathar would suit her perfectly


Next I wanted to tame a pet from outlands well because I had none in my stable's at the moment so I went to shadowmoon valley either going to tame that red/black neither rays or the sunset dragonhawks and this was the result



I thought the name aura would fit best with this one to it seemed to click perfectly with my new dragonhawk.....

of course these pets weren't enough to calm my itch so I went checking all my hunter alt for pets I didn't like.
With the new glitch my beloved tauren hunter's serpent turned ugly and i'm sorry to say this but I just couldn't stand the poor thing anymore and that's when I got Cobu

I only had one more hunter with a pet I didn't like which was a bear. Ever since (whoever did it?) pointed out the strange gumline I wasn't to planned to keep my bear anyways, I tamed the first pet that came to mind



Not that is just a mysterious troll in the backround doing some kind of ritual. This beautys name is snappah because when I was taming him he was spitting poison at me and he seemed to snap up everytime he spat at me giving him his name right away.

And with that, that's what happened even is none of them are rare or exotic I don't really care.

I had a bit of a taming spree myself today, but ultimately ended up with the Strider Clutchmother in my stables for a third or fourth time. I think I'm gonna keep her this time since she seems to be gone in Cata. Yeah, there will be other teal striders, but I like her specifically.

Rather than make a new thread, I'll just continue on in this one, if you don't mind, since they're the same theme.

I had a rotating slot so last night and tonight I picked up a few different pets before settling on Strider Clutchmother (again).

Wilson the bat - his time with me was short-lived. I'm just not fond of bats though he did remind me a little of my old chimaera. But to me bats look like giant floating tablecloths. They don't flap their wings much, they just glide around all over the place.


Next up was Soiphant the wind serpent. I do like wind serpents, just not the Outland model. He lasted through maybe half of this instance.


Then came several tallstrider tames, just to see the different colors in action (since I've only ever had a teal one). Surprisingly enough, I ended up quite liking the brown one with my hunter. I think it has a very subtle prettiness to it. But I still think the gray's my favorite. I love the contrast of a dull-colored body with vivid neck markings.




I also tamed a teal scorpid (the ones that seem to be disappearing), but didn't take a screen shot. It lasted maybe a minute and a half with me. I just don't like scorpids.

Rhylea that's also a nice line of pets you got there. The screenshots were just quick one's I'll take better one's probably later that suit's them more

Good choice on the tallstrider. They're just so darn cute, and while the brown one is my favorite, the gray one is definitely gorgeous. Complimentary colors = love.
