Hopefully this is the right spot, since it is more about discussing which pets we want to tame instead of updates about changes, new pets, etc. in Cataclysm. If not, mods please move for me?

What Cata-pets are coming that you just cannot wait to tame/want right this moment?

For me, I want the brown fox for Quin, so much! That is just...the pet for her. I love the color and the contrast of the eyes. It is just a gorgeous creature and I already have a name and everything picked out.



The other I really want is the new Cataclysm Crocolisk look, the dark green one. I absolutely love the way it looks.

My SOriid, if he changes. Otherwise I'm hoping for tameable ringworms. No foxes or mastiffs for me.

I'm really looking forward to the crocs and the new crabs... and the brown bone spider! I'm getting a fox too, I think. Oh, and the new, blue warp stalker! And hopefully a big, chubby Harkaa. <3

The pet that I am most looking forward to is a particular colour of the new Crocolisk model.

Second one from the bottom, the Black/Purple one. There has been no sightings of this skin in the Beta yet (knowing my luck it will be some level 85 beast. >.<), but regardless I'm really excited to get that specific skin. It's literally my dream pet...my favourite animal, and my favourite colours, all in one. ^^

I'm also very excited about getting a black mastiff (hopefully if they become tameable and not colour changers), the purple eyed bonespider, and the metal scorpid.


And I know that there has been no word on this, but I can't help but mention my straining hope that Gezz might make an appearance. <3

It's this fella. He's actually a colour changer, he also uses the white skin and this one.

I'm totally not surprised that's the colour croc you're hoping for Veph. ;P I'll cross my fingers for ya. Personally, I like numbers 1, 2 and 5.

This is the spider I want. Fortunately, it's already been confirmed as tameable.

I'm hoping for a new family - thunder lizards. I'd especially love to have the green one with red spikes.

Oh, and I also really really really want more skins of the riding tiger model. A panther one would be mighty fine, indeed.

Ooh yes, speaking of pet families that I'd like to see come into existence, my picks are Hydras, Stags, and Basilisks.

More riding tiger skins would be wonderful. There was a thread in which someone posted a plethora of new models for them for just about every cat skin type. Hopefully they're implemented.

I'm tossing back and forth between getting a Mastiff. I want to see more of their animations and know if I can pick the color I want first.

TBH not to sound like a downer but after what i have seen im not looking forward to any new pets. Lets face it a fox vs a Core hound or a monkey vs a devilasaur. WOTLK had much better pets just a shame you need to be BM spec to use them.

Some one on Beta suggest to blizzard instead of having Exotic pets make it so we can use 2 pets at once!

True, true... but what would result in a bigger blow to the ego? Being killed by a cute, fuzzy little fox, or a massive, slavering dinosaur?

I'm also looking forward to the new crocs. I've never been too fond of the old croco models, but these new models are wonderful. If only they would give the non-stop hissing and grunting a break! If a blue or green warpstalker skin is found that isn't a colour-changer, I will extremely excited to tame one as well. I'm quite fond of the foxes as well. I'm probably going for the white one with red eyes.

Really, any new taming option excites me.

Hee, I've always found their vocalizations endearing. I know I'm completely biased though with them being my favourite animals.

Lucky. Sitting in an AH that contains a pet Crocolisk makes me consider turning off the volume! Though I'll still give one a whirl anyways and see if I get used to the scaly chatterboxes.

The model doesn't bother me too much, except for the animations, which I find a bit meh, but it's the goddamn Darth Vader breathing that gets to me. Some crocodile like noises would be fine for me, but not like that...

And as Kamalia said, they are too loud. I can literally hear them from the other side of Dala!

Currently, so far, nothing really "special" or "spectacular" to me that I'm excited about for Cataclysm, for new pets. I'm disappointed.

Mastiffs! I can't wait and won't even be picky over the color (though I lean more towards the red one) just so long as they aren't ALL going to be color changers. xD
