today during a icc 10 man pug i meet someone with a mini pet/companion not sure exactly what it was but its a tiny litle baby bligth zombie thing

Its not a mini pet it its from a Staff from ICC 
Abracadaver as the tooltip says
Use: Summons a Cadaver that will protect you for 1 min. (15 Min Cooldown)
That was the "mini pet" you saw

Aye, that staff is pretty damned epic. Abracadaver. Heh. Fits a little necromancer/warlock like me. :D

So...uh...I feel like a blond because I never noticed it was Abracadaver (Abra-CADAVER) and summoned a corpse...x.x
