They do not retain this skill after tamed.
The white wolves in Ashenvale has the same type of move, but they turn from wolves into Spirit Wolves... til they die or you tame them.
Neither mob keeps the skill after trained.
I know I posted about this awhile back, but it was probably lost in some thread.
