I looked around and didn't see this posted, and thought it may give some of us a set time frame if we need to get anything done (leveling that hunter to 60 for bugs etc)

I got a friend with some inside scoop (cause he works on the inside)

Cata's 'Planned' release is Nov 14th.

Not set in stone, but is the date they are shooting for. It may get pushed back depending on how much more testing is needed.


Edit: At this time, there are NO PLANS to release the extra stable slots for hunters before cata. This again may change.

That sounds around the expected time that a lot of people have been guessing at. November seemed like a feasible month of release.

Nov 14th sounds about right. I didn't expect to see it till closer to the end of the year.

Mmm, about six days before my birthday. Sounds reasonable enough. I have money this time too so I can possibly buy the collectors edition. XD

Blizzard has seemed pretty forthcoming that the game will be released this year for sure, making December the latest. I know nothing's set in stone, but they seem pretty adamant about the whole 2010 release and I'm pretty sure it won't be longer than that.

Seems a lot have their birthday around Nov, mines the 4th! XD

I'll ask next time hes on for all the hunters sakes if they plan on releasing before hand the stable slots or if the only change we'll get is the new trees before cata hits..

I'm in the beginning of November too.. something about being born in November and being a hunter?..

That is only about 3 months away, but you got to remember that they still haven't implemented some zones, NPCs, and even some pet skins. So it may take 4 months as in the middle to end of December I would think. But with the 24 hour maintenence coming up tommoro for some servers it may just be possible. Ah well, I guess we can all hope for the next 3 months. XD

Why are all u ppl born in November?? And my boyfriend is getting me the CE and a new computer too, it should be here some time in September, so I can crank up the graphics and melt my eyeballs when Cata comes out

November's actually one of the most popular birth months overall. It's, ahem, 9 months after February.

Off topic: Another September! And you have a US patriotic event on yours as well! Francis Scott Key began writing the Star Spangled Banner on mine and the Battle of the Plains of Abraham took place on it too (Canadians will know that one). NYC also became America's temporary capital and the first presidential election was held that day.

Incidentally, the Star Spangled Banner was finished on your birthday! Also, the Battle of Antietam happened on yours and the Union soldiers found General Lee's plans on mine.
