Well, I was playing around with tenacity pets and decided to try a Jormungar Worm. Surprisingly (to me) I like him a lot! He has a lot of personality! I love his idles and his little 'mane' of hair looks so soft and petable!

I think he might have a permanent place as Quin's tank-pet!

Here are some pictures of Quin and her new friend. Any name ideas? I'd love a descriptive name like the ones the named Jormungars in game have. Acidmaw, Dreadscale, Rattlebore..... Though there are some with Nordic like names, such as Yggdras.

Those "fangs" or whatever they are down the side look like ice to me, so... Icefang? Icebarb?

According to Wowwiki:

Jormungar are creatures that can be encountered in Northrend in World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King. They have muscular, flattened bodies with rows of crystalline spines along either flank.

From the official Bestiary on the Wow site:

The fiercely aggressive jormungar are a marvel of evolution, possessing rows of chisel-like teeth capable of boring through solid rock, as well as muscular, flattened bodies well adapted to rapid underground navigation.

Legends tell of the nerubians' using the jormungar as creatures of labor, forcing them to carve massive tunnels through Northrend's subterranean ice and lay the groundwork for the nerubians' ancient civilization. With the fall of the nerubian empire, swarms of rogue jormungar ran amok, drilling through the region's permafrost, attacking surface dwellers, and devouring everything in their path.

Swiftcoil sounds awesome too, I get a mental image of a snake uncoiling and springing out at you when I hear that...

Uhm... Well they are tank pets so something more based on being large and strong rather than fast and cunning would be better... Maby one of these?

I've had that model twice on my NE hunter, though I finally traded him out for Grubthor.
My hunter is named Etona, which is named after one of the main characters in a cute little game named Disgaea. Therefore, I tried to keep my pets named after other characters in the game (such as Grubthor now running around as "Prinny", and Rak'shiri is named Krichevskoy).

My worm was named Laharl. Though it was originally for silly reasons, I actually grew attached to the name separate from it's origin.

The second time I had him, I named him Goober- since he spits corrosive globs of goo. He was my sweet little Goober! <3
