Let's assume that all pets are going to be equal under each "tree" based on the scaling announced in the blue post. What will be your big three?

For me, two are easy...

Tenacity - Armoured Black Boar
Cunning - Sillithid
Ferocity - tougher here... might go red lynx, might go blue-black trex.. a few other choices as well...

Pfft, even if pets aren't "equal" I go with whatever pets I want! I don't care if Wolves are the best Ferocity pet right now, I'm gonna use whatever the hell pet I want! (Not that I don't like Wolves; I love my Felpaw Wuff-Wuff! <3)

Aaanywho... But I still have prefferances for talent trees!

For my main, Sandfur: (Hah, what do you know, Slickrock, we're both on Windrunner! .. Just thought I'd mention that seeing as that's the server Sandfur is on XD)
Ferocity: CHEETAAAAAH!~ (Duma, to be specific <3 <3 <3) And if not mah kitteh, either Ban-Ban the Felpaw Wuff-Wuff or Vixen mah Loque~
Tenacity: ... Ghost Hydra. Deffinitely. <3
Cunning: Oooooh, Sand hasn't had a cunning pet in a long time but... I'd have to go with Purple Serpent (One of her oldest, and my favourite pets; Orchidfang <3) or Blue Outland Wind Serpent (Sapphire~ I had her for a while at lvl 70, she was a pretty awesome little snakey <3)

For my Alliance alt, Wolfwhisper:
Ferocity: Either Araga (EverRoar), Moonstalker (Kuroro, and the reason why I'm not specific about which of the Moonstalker kitties she is.. She's been both the dark silver with silver stripes and the black with dark silver stripes XD) orrrr... Loque'Nahak! (Blitzennnnn!~)
Cunning: Ironbeak Owl. (Zenith!~ <3)
Tenacity: Ooohh... I dunno. I think maybe Miyu the Brown Bear or..... Aastarinian the White Warp Stalker~

Aaaand for my main on my alt server, Varadoria:
Cunning: BLUE SNAAAAAAAAAAAKE!~ (Taigaaaaa~ <3) ... Or Red Dragonhawk (Harrow!~)
Tenacity: GREEN WARP STALKER. (Gahiji!~ <3)
Ferocity: Hmm... I think either Arashi the White Lion or Asavari the Arcturis~

Hmm... hadn't thought about second hunter... I need to make picks there too.. hmm.. one of the spirit beasts for certain.

I can't really narrow it down to one for each, but...

Gryselde:
Tenacity - Wibbles, formerly known as Oozeworm
Cunning - Puck, red owl or Linnae (who will be retamed after Cata), jade owl
Ferocity - Felka formerly known as Araga or Crowle the ferocity owl

Teigan:
Tenacity - Snortly, armored brown boar or Felix, white warpie (both to be retamed post-Cata)
Cunning - Pooka the sporebat or Havoc the blue silithid or Susurra, ice serpent (all to be retamed after Cata)
Ferocity - Tannok, formerly known as Timber or Galileo, formerly known as Skoll

Of course, subject to change

I'd agree with Senna here as well. I go with whatever pet I feel for that encounter but if the tank isn't on top of things, I'll bring out a tank for survivability.

Iljimae:
Ferocity - Krush first and foremost and then possibly Loque
tenacity - Sewer Beast or Cranky (depends upon the circumstances)
cunning - Haarka

Mnenioc:
Ferocity - Death Howl, Arcturis/Loque and lastly the Beast
Tenacity - Sewer Beast

Tenacity: Jerkface!
Cunning: I'm getting my sporebat back and we will be very happy together.
Ferocity: is harrrrrd. Either Kegan or Charlie.

-Tenacity: Grunter or the Grey Scorpid (http://www.wow-petopia.com/look/scorpio ... kiron.html) texture.
-Cunning: Don't have one here yet seeing as I don't often use cunning pets. I've been eyeballing those new bone spiders from Cata though...
-Ferocity: It'll be a toss up for when I'm BM. Either my devilsaur (Brutus) or a red Mastiff (who has yet to be named). The mastiff for any other spec though.

Right now on Sara I have one tenacity and 4 ferocity. After running very exclusively with one ferocity pet for a long time, it occurred to me that the other three were wasting away in the stables... so I've made a conscious effort to cycle through them. Now, I'll pull out whatever pet I'm in the mood for. I'll be continuing that in Cata. I'm planning on getting a few more tenacity and I have my eye on at least 3 cunning pets, so I'll be cycling them too.

Firewing:

Tenacity: The new color changing warp stalker, or if they make the blue/red skin an individual skin. (Nether)
Cunning: Scythe the tan ravager.
Ferocity: Bayne (Krush.) I'd keep Moonie and Ior, but I think I'll level with Bayne.

Tenacity: Blink (White warpie)
Cunning: Lapress (Signature silithid)
Ferocity: Wisp (Gondria)

Red Lynx for Ferocity. Had him since I made my hunter.
Aotona for Cunning.
Grunter/Helboar for Tenacity, if that makes it into live.

Tenacity - Brick - turtle (basic red - had him since forever; might replace him with a lava turtle or one with the new Cata look if either becomes tameable but either way it's gonna be a turtle... unless they make silithid beetles tameable anyway...)

Ferocity - Kali - wasp (hive queen, even though she's flappy and huge and won't be such a unique snowflake much longer, I seem to get better DPS w/ her than Skoll so he's probably gonna remain a benchwarmer)

Cunning - ? - soriid (already tamed)... even though I never do pvp and therefore only use cunning pets rarely, I'll make an exception for this guy if he keeps his new look.

I've also got 7 other hunters on various servers but that's probably how this toon is going to roll...

Lessee, Rhyela's top three:

Ferocity: Apollyon (King Krush, my right-hand man [er, devilsaur])
Cunning: Naphthali (red spider, the one who somehow grew on me)
Tenacity: I love boars but I think I'd have to give this one to my old buddy Sheldon, the gray turtle.

Ferocity: Skorn, of course. He's the one pet I could never be without. ^^
Cunning: I never would have thought this in the past, but I have to say it would be Xoltron my Nuramoc. I've just fallen for the purple guy.
Tenacity: My future Purple Outland Crocolisk for sure. However, if the purple Warp Stalker is available to tame in Cataclysm then that would have to be it.

Ok... But.... I don't have a tenacity pet D:

Ferocity: Crunch my red devilsaur. He has been with me the longest and has alot of storyline. Don't want to have to rewrite that!
Cunning: Nervoso my tan silithid. She is just.... Her damage in pvp.... How could I get rid of this flesh eating insect?
Tenacity: D: I don't have a tenacity pet but I would HAVE to get back Neon my warp chaser. Oh she is coming back in cata. I can't wait to get my big spikey evil grinning lizard back!

I can only pick three? But there are so many!

Okay, for my main (Dwarf huntress)
Ferocity: Goriya (Grey Wolf)
Cunning: *Unnamed for the moment* (Soriid... so either a big tick thing or a purple bug)
Tenacity: Om (Orange Turtle)

And for my Petopians alt (Derpy Taurhuntress... who I have been shamefully neglecting.)
Ferocity: Kohri (Black Raptor)
Cunning: Trinexx (Chimera, Brown for the moment, but if those other chimera colours pop up, I may switch to one of those)
Tenacity: Lanmolas (Green Worm, anain might change if they bring out some jormungar colours)

Ferocity - Skoll with the moble of the cyotes

Cunning - BLUE DRAGONHAWK!!!!!!

Tenacity - ... maybe one of the fire turtles

Tenacity- retame Arrakis the ghost worm probably, or maybe Boot the blue rhino... or Panzer (Form. Uhk'loc), or maybe that pretty blue/red warp stalker... I don't know!
Ferocity- Nyx (ghost wolfy)
Cunning- Leilani the attack parrot (Form. Aotona)

For my mains:

On my NE:

Tenacity: A White Bear
Ferocity: A Black Wolf
Cunning: A white or black owl

On my Tauren:

Tenacity: A White Bear
Ferocity: A Snow Leopard
Cunning: A black owl

All others hunters will also have bear tenacity pets, but depending on what hair color I give them the ferocity pets will be a wolf or leopard and the cunning will be a white or black owl.

Cunning: Aotona
Ferocity: wolf-snake! (King Krush if I ever go BM)
