With Cataclysm coming out, we're getting an extra 20 pet slots from what we have right now, the perfect opportunity for a taming spree and the news collectors have been waiting for!

I was just wondering if anyone else has made up lists as to what new pets to put in those extra stable slots? New Cata pets, or old world pets you've always wanted but never had the slots for, it doesn't matter. Who do you want to join your pet familes?

Here's my list:

Cunning Pets

A white eagle (always liked that skin, it's so pretty)

A Nether ray, probably the purple one from Netherstorm. I want it to match my mount and small pet, and to take on my mage guildie in duels ^^

Purple Sithid, Laprass if I can get her. I always wanted my very own zergling!

My own python-type snake

Ferocity

The Cursed Offspring of Har'koa, or any other cat that shares his skin. I love how metallic and robotic he looks. I'm going to name him Ravage.

A Purple Hyena. It's a relief to know that Snort will still be available in Cata.

A Green Wasp. I'll finally have Waspinator to go with Scorponok!

Either the dark blue or silver fox.

A basilisk, if they're made tamable.


Well, after my current 5 babies, that makes 10 new ones I have planned so far, and I still have 10 slots open

An eagle

Soroth the lynx, my hunter's current pet

A monkey, just to have it jump around in crowds with eyes of the beast

That's just the list atm, ofc. It'll probably change before Cata goes live.
